Every single episode of Hell’s Kitchen explained in one paragraph

The scallops are under/over cooked….the lamb is raw…..the risotto is under/over cooked….Chef Ramsey screams at everyone….Chef Ramsey throws food and pans in disgust….inner blue/red team controversies…..the rejected are pissed off and not understood and we’re not given a fair chance.
That is every single episode precisely. Only the dialogue is slightly different.

Oh, and Chef Ramsey has a pencil resting on top of his left ear that he never uses.

I will admit here for the first time that I watched an embarrassing amount of Hell’s Kitchen during Covid. Raj was fugging hilarious

The show gets tiresome once you realize the basic formula:
Hotshot chef towers over an assortment of misfits.
The hot messes get tossed early.
A drama queen/saboteur sticks around to keep the conflict high.
A surprise exit.
The hotshot suddenly falters.
A dark horse/feel-good character suddenly emerges.
The hot shot and dark house duke it out in the finals.

Oh I became addicted during quarantine once I realized Pluto TV had an entire channel dedicated to Hells Kitchen

And all the contestants smoke so damn much it’s a good bet their sense of smell and taste is terrible.

Gordon Ramsay yells at people for burning the fricking scallops.

I just have to know.
WHO THE frick COOKS RISOTTO WITH EVERYTHING?
I can't say I have ever had risotto...

Not sure why those chefs don’t have their scallops, risotto, & beef Wellington games on point prior to entering the show.
You learn how to cook just those 3 dishes and you will sail to the finals

Raj was the best contestant ever put on the show
Surely, the guy was a plant or the producers told him to exaggerate himself?

I find this to be odd.

You know that Kitchen Nightmares could be summed up similarly, right?
Especially the American ones.
I couldn't tell if it was because of what things they were willing to show, or catering to the audience, but one thing that struck me about America's Kitchen Nightmares vs the original British show was that the British one almost always just had things like, "Food is bland" or "Menu is too complex" while the American one was, "Food has spoiled", "Roaches in the pasta sauce", or "Severed foot used to make sausage."

I don't know which Gordon Ramsey show is more fun to watch, Hell's Kitchen, or Kitchen Nightmares.

Kitchen Nightmares for me
He made an attempt at a travel cooking show, I don't know if it is still airing. It didn't do it for me.

Wow. That was hard to watch. I can't believe he thought he should put himself on that show.

Were this true, there wouldn't be any decent restaurants in the world. Chefs smoke like chimneys.

Because of Hell's Kitchen, I learned how to cook Risotto.
Mine was never undercooked, and I even spiced it according to some well known chef's recipes.
Ho hum. I prefer other rice.
BUT the one thing risotto rice is good for is placement in salt shakers to keep their salt from clogging up due to humidity. The risotto grains are so fat that they don't clog salt shakers like regular rice does.
