The most recent ones were TDKR and Avengers.
Deathly Hallows part 2 is a movie-going experience I will never forget...applause at several points throughout.

I have a friend who wrote, directed and starred in a movie. He had a priemer for friends and family. We applauded.

I've been on an airplane(overseas) when the passengers applauded when we landed.

I didn't know landing was such an unlikely scenario before getting on the plane.

Movies, a few times. I find it weird.

I remember people going crazy at the end of The Matrix when Neo figured out how to kick the sentinel's arse. I'll go ahead and admit, I did too. Was a satisfying moment in the movie.

I went watch North by Northwest a few weeks ago at Perkins Rowe, and there was some applause.

Not being racist, but I first saw Remember the Titans in a theater full of black people and they were going crazy during every game scene.
