Rewatching it on Disney+ and holy shite the comedic writing/delivery is even better than I remember.

SL really does an amazing job. I noticed how quickly he grew up physically which took the wind out of a lot of his slapstick immature comedy. I think this is why the show runs its course quicker than I would have liked it to.

I think what makes Even Stevens so great was that it wasn't reliant on a laugh track, the comedy was good on its own and rewatching it, there were even some solid innuendos for the adults.
