Snakes bruh. I can’t.

The claustrophobia in me had a hard time watching the coffin scenes leading to the snake.

Then once I got to the snake I knew it was coming and had to look away.

The ice scene had me laughing, at first I thought it was another appendage of Nate and I not talking about a finger or a toe.

That was the best episode of the season by far. Wow.

Intense pretty much all the way throughout. Like everyone else, the coffin and snake scene was hard to watch, that had me trying to crawl out of my skin. Great acting by Elordi there too.

I don't think they are going to do a season 4 but it's slightly odd that HBO has labeled the next episode as "season finale" instead of "series finale."

Despite the boards hate, if the season premiere was any indication, a ton of people are watching. It premiered with almost 50% more people watching than season two. One of HBO's biggest shows ever.

Man for 11 pages you've been pushing that everyone on the show hates each other and doesn't want to be there and hoping for a disaster. We get it.

and not complaining, but why was Jules even in this season? Jules and Lexi are non factors

Yea this is a good thing. Lexi is just offended over everything someone says this season so I'm fine with less of her even though she was a highlight in season 2. They had to include Jules just for fan service and to avoid lgtbq outrage I'm sure. I'm sure some are complaining about her basically being written off.

I mean it’s pretty obvious

The main characters barely have any scenes that are shot together

There is no way I would have gotten in that box. They would have killed me fighting not to get in there.

The big issue with Hollywood and entertainment over the last decade is that most shows do not find an audience fast enough. It used to be that you had destination type TV when you had to watch it now or within a short window.

Now with streaming, most shows premiere and die from a lack of initial viewership and streams, but then find an audience months if not years after the initial run because either they never found it or was not suggested by the algorithm to watch. Plus you have so many choices out there and you don't have to wait for a particular time slot to watch.

Just think back in the heyday of Television back in the 1980's when shows like Dallas ruled the airwaves. That was appointment television back then. You set your life around the TV viewing schedule. Now you can kick back and catch up on a show in a weekend or even on a flight.

Speaking off that snake...

I get they couldn't put a real rattlesnake in the coffin with him, but putting a rattle on a python was hilarious. The snakes look nothing alike. I feel they could have done a better job of hiding the snake as opposed to showing it was obviously a python

I noticed this. It's building to a series finale type episode, so it thought that was odd too.

Very true. I actually prefer the HBO method of one episode a week over the Netflix episode dump. I'm not a binge guy, I watch maybe an episode of something at night or more on a lazy weekend. I would be fine if every show I watched was an episode a week drop.

I feel like the one episode a week builds anticipation and as an obvious movie board poster, it gives you more time for discussion as opposed to one person finishing a series the day after a drop and another a month later.

it is so bad, but so watchable in the same sentence. I'm really ready for it to be over.

There is no way they are getting any of the big three back, so not sure how the show carries on to a season 4. And it's a major over budget kind of show.

And agreed on the HBO model of an episode a week. Builds anticipation, but most importantly for them keeps memberships active longer. Also harkens back to a truer time in TV when the Sopranos and others were Sunday appointment viewing

Maybe Season 4 could be Rue finding her spiritual calling and becoming a Nun after all what she has been through and seen her friends go through.

But within that journey she uncovers the underworld of the Catholic Church and all of its debauchery goes on behind the scenes, if not the Catholic Church then maybe you can go with some televangelist with a coke problem (which is how they meet) but is able to pull millions in donations a week and likes to keep a stable of women to slay on the downlow.

IMDB has it listed as the final season and they are usually right about stuff like that. Elordi just made sure he was gone in case the show continued, John Goodman did the same thing at the end of Roseanne, he asked them to kill him off which is why I was surprised that Goodman reprised the role years later.

I don't think they are doing a season 4, at least not for a long time and it for sure won't have their big 3 in it.

I could see a spin off or just a years down the line season with Alamo and company, probably Gabby as well, getting a season. Their storyline is good enough to keep going if they wanted. The Breaking Bad feel has worked imo.

Just awful what they've done to everyone!
