Cal sacrificed him to elite Bay Area pedos in order to secure major development contracts for his up and coming construction business.

Is it set in the Bay Area? I always assumed it was but couldn't remember if they ever said. I always thought they wanted it to be "anywhere USA." Bay Area is where I assumed it was "set" but I could also see Houston or Dallas suburbs.
ETA:
I notice the tiny dumbbells, that is hilarious.

I don’t think so but friday night light’s house can only exist in LA.
It would be really weird for them to pick that house then randomly say it’s Baltimore

I don’t think they’ve ever explicitly said they’re in LA/SF/etc area

Euphoria is largely filmed in areas around around Los Angeles County, with the fictional East Highland School scenes filmed at a real-life school called Ulysses S. Grant High, which is based in LA's Valley Glen neighborhood.

If you've been watching season two of Euphoria on HBO Max, you may be wondering if you missed the part where the show's setting is established. Don't worry, you didn't — and we doubt a specific town will be named. The showrunners likely want to make the point that the issues faced by the high schoolers in Euphoria aren't unique to one particular geographic area. Drug addiction disorders, trauma, and cyberbullying are present in rural areas, cities, and everywhere in between.

That is what I figured they were trying to do with the "any town USA" type setting but I agree you can tell its California. Not that it matters or anything.

Just binged all 14 episodes and am all caught up.
S2 E5 with Rue was nuts. It was like being fascinated by watching a building burn

I love when I can binge a show because I can't really remember much from season to season.. or even week to week really

Probably my least favorite episode in both seasons

So is it implied that Nate’s dad diddled him?
Posted on 2/20/22 at 9:51 pm to FLBooGoTigs1
I don’t know about that. I just binged all the episodes and that by far this was the best episode of the show!

Terrible episode.
Gotta love the Broadway level of production at a high school play though

I actually loved the backstory in Rue and Lexi’s friendship. They allude to how they were best friends but they hardly interact.
Cassie got some good back story and it really showed how deep her friendship with Mady was.
The mom cracking up during the play and the gay work out scene were hilarious.

Also looks like ashtray at least is a goner
Cops clearly listen and he’s is onto the rat. He kills or tries to kill the rat and the cops burst in and kill at least him.
