Yeah he was always a tragic character, atleast once they explained why a 12 year old had a mortgage and was selling drugs lol. I liked the finale but no closure on the Fez situation was stupid. Also, I thought someone from the bag lady was gonna scoop Rue up in the final scene when she was walking in the parking lot. Guess they'll wait for that in next season.

If the next season is 2024, they're all gonna be like 30-35.

That would have been a great cliffhanger. We may never see Rue pay consequences for the suitcase though.. Other shows I watch do the same damn thing.

This show completely lost me.
unfortunately I have to agree

I liked the way the show was heading when things started to feel a little more “real” with rue’s fight with her mom/Jules/Elliot but the last two episodes killed it for me, personally. Just a weak as hell season finale

Can't argue with that...
Good news is Fez is still alive and with a half-arse lawyer he'll walk. He never admitted anything about Mouse and you always blame everything on the dead guy (ash).. Fingerprint on knife was Fez taking the knife away from ash trying to save lives..

The show suffers from a lack of focus. Even the cinematography is at times beautiful but still feels gimmicky

I am not sure how they don't address Rue steeling 10k from a drug dealing pimp.

The show has been a guilty pleasure of mine but i am that locked in or telling people to watch it. I will come back for season 3

I'm going to guess that a season 3 never happens. Unless they have iron-clad contracts that mandate they have to do it I can see many of the stars getting caught up in doing movies. I did not like that Rue had no consequences for the drug suitcase also.

Yeah, I sometimes wonder if that was real of not (in the show, or like a Rue detox dream). Idk why tf they brought Lyla Garrity out of retirement for 2 seconds of screentime.

This wouldn't surprise me. But so many plot lines that are undone that I'm interested in. but by 2024 I probably won't give a shite anyway.

Didn’t love the finale. Rue still hasn’t faced any consequences for her actions

Well they named her to the cops. Not sure why some of yall missed that.

What would be interesting is if the lady got out and went after rue still.

But to me it was obvious the old lady was going to get nabbed by the cops.

Finale was way too safe. It's almost like they didn't think there would be a season 3.

Hopefully they address that in the next season but I don't think it's a given. Rue's narration skipped ahead in time multiple months during that final scene, talking about how she stayed clean for the entire summer, etc.

Both the drug deal and Lyla Garrity and her security cameras were examples of pretty weak writing this season. They threw these situations out, hinted at a deeper meaning, then both went nowhere.

People hoping for this might be disappointed. The show runner, Sam Levinson, was an addict in his youth who recovered and is apparently basing some of this off of his own experiences. Feel like she's going to get a good ending due to this.

Yeah I noticed they basically said that in the after credits bit (I watched hoping there would be a hidden gem or something). I thought I noticed the credits say Drake and Future were producers. Interesting. Rue directing a few of these episodes, I'm sure there will be a third season. I liked how the Fez interview he seems like the exact person he is playing.

Yeah this cracks me up. His mannerisms and speech pattern are the exact same as Fez in real life.

Rue said she stayed clean even though it wasn't her choice right? She get arrested?

Or kidnapped? As for the post above about Lucy Lip's trying to last minute pin it on the crazy old lady. I think the cops already knew who they were there for. Perhaps her words lead to an investigation into her (who knows). But what would Rue be arrested for? Possession maybe? Maybe she just meant family, friends, and her sponsor cracking down on her. (or the fact that Fez is out of commission). Granted, I'm sure she could find other suppliers.
