This show is based on an Israeli show by the same name that HBO did. They just rewrote it for America and made it (probably) darker and more in tune with American references.
As for the Rue is tGoat thing, I was totally kidding. However, I agree I don't think the show should give her a happy ending.
But is it going to give Nate, Cassie, Cal, Fez, etc a happy ending? Who knows. Most of the characters are complex but Nate and his dad are both clearly not good.
Fez does bad things but has a presumably "good or fair" moral foundation, notwithstanding the murder and drug dealing lol. There are so many directions that this show can go.

For example, she gets off drugs but has alienated her family and friends and is working at Walmart, living in a halfway house … something like that

I feel the same way lol... He's the drug dealer that cares and has a big heart. It makes you fall in love with a character you should despise.

just remembered a story from back in college. girl i dated had a cracked out cousin. When he bottomed out, he ended up stealing the family guns from his grandmother and pawning them off.
Another uncle went around and found most of them thankfully.

Yeah her stealing from Cassie and Lex's mom, starting the Nate drama just cuz, trying to lie and steal from Fez's sick grandmaw, her sister hates her, Ashtray already is probably ready to just cap her, she was too lowlife for the lowlife bleached haired kid, and possibly ruined her 'relationship' with Jules.
In reality, she'd go to rehab and either get better or get worse but those friends would likely not be around much if she didn't stay straight and even then it won't be the same sort of relationship. She literally can't be around Fez or she'll use. I think there will be a big ending for her (maybe not this season but eventually).

Yeah I sort of thought it was a redemption arc until you remember he put a gun to Maddie's head, well his too. That allegedly "he said wasn't loaded," but he left the bullets there. Idiot. I don't get why Cassie is going so fricking crazy all of a sudden. She knows he's a scumbag lol.
Yeah next week is gong to go off the rails, I thought someone was going to die in this one. Fez has major problems and if that big lipped girl doesn't tell him that's super fricked up.

Speaking of… happened across a trending gloryhole video on spankbang a few days ago, and it was Chloe cherry . The comments were like “suddenly I feel euphoric” haha
But that video was not great and the lips are distracting . Maybe it’s still up for those who are interested
