Man that was a wild episode. Just a brutal display of addiction.

You're right. I can't remember exactly the convo but from watching it, I interpreted it as it being obvious that Mouse was dead and Fez knows and is telling bc he did it and to let the lady know that a) he is serious about his lifestyle, b) to actually let them know so they weren't wondering, and c) to show that he should be dealing direct with them.
ETA: I love how nearly the entire thread went into "Rue's acting abilities are meh, I wish Rue would die off and they'd follow a different character" to Rue and the actress is tGOAT.

The show is just two different shows. One is a glorified The OC while the other is Zoomer transpotting
Rue's story has dragged on in the background for the first part of this season. She was there but not there, which i guess is a good metaphor for someone tits deep in oxy. It is not that she sucked as an actress but there just wasn't much for her to do.
Clearly the addiction storyline is what the writer wants to tell and teen drama was sorta filler. I wonder how much Sydney Sweeney becoming the most famous person on the cast in the last two years effected the writing.
having said that, i still want Rue pimped out or dead because of the balls it would take.

Zendaya is still definitely the most famous person on the show.

yep, the show is getting a ton of blow back for glamorizing drug use. IMO it needs to show the darkest possible outcome.
Rue getting a miraculous recovery is not what this show needs at this point

There's no indication she will. In theory it's somewhat autobiographical, but the creator was a rich white kid, not a poorer black kid, so his happy outcome is not likely for Rue unless there is some absolute tragic rock bottom first.

Ehhh, IDK, take a look at their respective IMDB credits. People may not like Zendaya, but she's objectively more successful and more famous then Sweeney. She's got lead roles in Dune, all of the new Marvel Spider Man movies, and Francis Ford Coppola is apparently after her for his new big budget movie with a loaded cast. Meanwhile Sweeney is making softcore porn streaming stuff for Amazon Prime.
