Looks like a very watered down version of Kirby's cosmic concept. Would be nice if they'd attempt full Kirby as they did in Ragnarok.

I want this to be the case as well.

Gemma Chan

Can't help but fall for the quiet freak types like her.

The MCU has two Wongs.

Which doesn't make a right.

I almost didn't recognize John Snow.

Why? He's got the exact same beard.

AND Robb Stark. I'm glad their careers weren't ruined.

It looks good, though I don't know anything about these characters. They got some pretty good names to be in it, though I think Hayek and Jolie are not in as much demand anymore.

At least Robb went out with a bang. Red Wedding was one of the most shocking tv episodes ever.

I’ll be honest, I don’t know anything about any of these characters aside from they’re ancient and potentially loosely tied to Thanos or mutants. Last time that occurred with Marvel was GotG which is one of my faves.

Stellar cast and an Oscar-winning director have me pumped though. Looks like this one with Chloe at the helm could be visually stunning with some great cinematography.

What are you, a commie? Yes, Mao, the guy who killed half of life throughout the entire universe is a villain.

Well now I'm confused. I thought the Eternals were supposed to be some ancient heroes with Godlike powers.

But here the movie is based in 2023?

This will be interesting to see where they take this because they can tie the Eternals into so many other characters’ story arcs. I imagine they will also use the Eternals to continue the exploration of the cosmic, perhaps extra-dimensional if the Celestials come into play, realms.

I’m not saying I agree with what he did, but I see his logic and I see it as pragmatic, not evil.

I'd count immortality as a Godlike power?

The mark of a great villain is that the audience can relate to about 49% of his motivation. It's that extra 1% that sends them into sinister/evil territory.

The last time this seemed to be the mentality with the masses we were gifted with the Guardians of the Galaxy. The Eternals feels like it will be the conduit between Earth and whatever cosmic threat is up next. Kang, Galactus or something/someone similar. It will be interesting to say the least.

hollywood fricked up the only 2 superheroes and villian i loved as a kid; the FF4, the Inhumans and Galactus. anything i like has been shite on the big screen.

how the frick do you screw up Galactus? From this badass to a 'windstorm'.

then there's anninhilus, terax the tamer..the whole Negative Zone universe....

It really is a shame. Should have been a slam dunk.

I hope the MCU fixes this.
