Just because some people had negative opinions doesn't mean anything.
Everyone loved Chadwick Bosman's portrayal - what they disliked was Marvel's special effects (they should have been way better for the movie's budget) and the CGI fight between the hero and villain at then end (preferring a live action battle). I don't recall the main actor telling the press "No whites" were allowed or getting mad when a white person asked him a question.
Just because a person finds fault with two different things doesn't mean the faults of both things are equal.

Naw bro, we're all just racist misogynists up in here because we dared to criticize a female lead and a movie that was mostly black people, even though we've given multiple examples of good female leads (Ripley and Connor say hi), and think Bosman was a great actor in a sub-par movie.

I saw Cheadle in Vancouver while cycling last June. He was walking along the oceanfront and sat down right by me and my family when we stopped for lunch .Nice friendly guy. I had that kind of goofy adrenaline surge you get when you see a celebrity you like. After he got up ( he then did a photo shoot about 100 yards away ) I thought to myself, that’s a cool MFer right there. Nothing bothers that guy.
So back at the hotel later, I checked out his Twitter .Dude was in the middle of a full- on Trump Derangement Syndrome RageMelt that whole day. He must have been walking and melting, shiteing and melting.Just one post after another all day long- like a mental patient. Dude could be doing anything he wants and he’s melting on Twitter about Orange Man Bad all day. SMH.
This fricking culture is just WRECKING people...

Did I say Black Panther or Brie Larson couldn't be criticized? Seriously. I liked black panther but criticized it for cgi etc.
Im just wondering why the countless negative threads about the same exact things for these two subjects . My god.

Promoting movies like this is mind numbing work. You have to do the same interview over and over all fricking day for a coupe of months.
I don't really ever expect a movie promo interview to be worth a damn b/c odds are the person being interviewed just wants to go home and is only repeating what the studio told them to say b/c their contract requires it.

I would agree that there is no better time to be alive than the present. We live in a period of incredible prosperity and relative peace. We are unbelievably fortunate. Make sure to let Don Cheadle know before he breaks his hand tweeting furiously about how our Dystopian world is collapsing under the Orange Hitlerian control of The Celebrity Apprentice .

Not disagreeing, but we should temper our outrage at current celebrities' political tantrums. They are not a new thing. Hollywood's been populated by complaining rich people since the beginning.
