And it was possibly the most awkward interview I have ever seen actors give while fronting for an upcoming film. Either these three know how to troll or Hemsworth and Cheadle hate Brie Larson.

No. She keeps on saying things. While some of it can be explained, she comes across as unlikable and assholish. I don't believe that this act if that's what it is will be helpful to her in the future. if they're playing it up and making a joke of it I think that it backfires on them which I think is what's happening.

I saw the main 6 stars do an interview on the Tonight Show (I think) for Avengers 1 or 2.
I got the impression that they just were not very quick on their feet. I wasn't tired of the movies at that point, was disappointed at how bleah their real life personalities were.
Just be good at parroting whatever lines some writer a lot more clever than you puts in your mouth I guess.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with Captain Marvel being a woman and powerful.
I don't have a problem with Brie Larsen trying to advocate for more female-led movies either.
She just seems confrontational about EVERYTHING. It feels like a male interviewer cannot ask her a question without her either:
A.) Transforming the question into a "this is about me being a woman" moment
B.) Trying to perpetually one-up her co-stars
Brie Larsen just seems like she's angry that the person near her has a penis. It doesn't feel like the person themselves has anything to do with her visceral response, just their gender (which seems like a defeating stance to take, but still...)
She wants gender equality? frick yeah. Can stand behind that.
She wants to end sexual discrimination and sexual harassment? Totally stand behind that.
Seeming to just HATE the guy sitting next to you because, well... GUY? That's hard to accept. It makes it hard to watch her movies.
I'd be the same way if a famous actor sat down across from a woman, sneered at her and implied she shouldn't be talking to him directly because breasts. I'd say drop that jackass hard and see if he bounces.
She has a pedestal now, and possibly it's simply gone to her head. I don't know. I've seen people get famous and do way crazier shite than this (see Tom Cruise couch moment, basically any member of Scientology, etc).
Giving a perpetual stinkeye to Hemsworth? The guy who has been on the side of women a LOT? Dude gave props to WW right out the gate. It says a lot when even those who might agree with your message cannot stand being around you.

They have to recast Captain Marvel at this point.
I have been the biggest proponent of leaving Brie alone, but she's clearly not meshing with anyone in the MCU or irl.

She made them a billion dollars worldwide. She's not going anywhere.
She would have to piss off the brass at marvel, or literally get all the others to refuse to work with her on the next Avengers movie. Finding her insufferable might only mean that she ends up doing the press junkets by herself (or with people that can tolerate her, like Tessa Thompson).
That's not a knock on Tessa, btw. I just know she wrote a positive op-ed piece on Brie (Time)
