Can’t read the list because the page keeps reloading and going back to the top or crashes out completely.

The Sandlot needs to be on there if it’s not.

It's A Wonderful Life should never be outside the top 10.

Casablanca is my favorite movie of all time and in no way shape or form should that be considered an American movie.

I knew it would be something stupid at #1 to engagement farm. Rage bait fricks.

This is genuinely just a terrible list too.

Oh my. Smoke Signals? Do the Right Thing at 1? Casablanca??

Haha. Why are people that ridiculous? It's crazy someone could seriously make that list.

First, It's a Wonderful Life and Mr. Smith are top 5. Pulp Fiction is in the list, and you have to put a Western in the top 5. It's either She Wore a Yellow Ribbon or take your pick.

Im adding The Great Escape, Rocky, Modern Times. Citizen Kane stays in.

#10 is Top Gun. Fill in the rest.

“Selma” deserves to be on the list. Well, maybe not if you believe it was wrong for black pellet to seek the right to vote…

Black pellets don’t even care about Selma. Virtue signaling makes you look like a bitch.

How The West Was Won
The Grapes of Wrath
Roots
Cold Mountain
There Will Be Blood
The Right Stuff
These movies were about the shaping of American values, including tragedy and accomplishment, as well as steel sharpening steel.

Definitely impactful and important regarding its influence on society, but it’s very serious distortion and/or fabrication of historical narrative makes its inclusion a problem.

Not included.
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
The Best Years Of Our Lives
It’s A Wonderful Life
White Christmas
Shane

But, Do The Right Thing in front of the list?

Physician, heal thyself.

DTRT may not belong at the head of the
list but it does reflect tensions between immigrant business owners and the people in minority neighborhoods.

And Lee does a good job of not making Aeillo’s character the villain.
Nor are the rioters heroes…

I’m not virtue signaling. I think the
march in Selma was a significant historical event…

It's a work of fiction, and you haven't levied this criticism against any of the many other films mentioned in this thread that distort or ignore historical accuracy.
