The personalities of Will, Carlton, Hillary, Uncle Phil and Jeffrey are top notch. Not a fan of the mom or Ashley tho

Karyn Parsons was a smoke show in her day.

Tatiana Ali was pretty fine too.

I agree. The way she looked back then would still be hot today. Too bad she didn't age well

I love that the cast balances itself out

as extreme in terms of characters Will and Carlton may be they are grounded by Uncle Phil and either Vivian

I love Jeffery's range as either being a sarcastic jackarse that doesnt care if he is fired to being an actual family member providing necessary guidance

best TV cast ever I am not sure but for what the show was going for they crushed it.

I think the Office was the best casting job for a TV show ever. Every piece fit perfectly. But Fresh Prince was awesome too.

Yes, it is better than Andy Griffith, Seinfeld, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Cheers, Bob Newhart, Taxi, Frazier, It’s Always Sunny, Barney Miller, All in the Family, and M*A*S*H.

No, because for a comedy show, the candidates would be:

1. Frasier

2. Cheers

3. Seinfeld

...more or less in that order.

Even for a comedy with a predominantly black cast:

1. Sanford

2. Jeffersons

3. Good Times

4. Cosby

Barney Miller,

Really underrated sitcom with an Excellent cast. Hal Lindon was the ultimate straight man and the rest of the cast really fit together perfectly especially when Dietrich showed up.

Night Court has a phenomenal cast as well. Like Cheers they were able to adapt and arguably improve when one of their main cast members passed away in the middle of their run.

4. Cosby

Young Rudy is atrocious. She's just staring into the camera and laughing the first couple seasons. It's not really her fault because clearly they just didn't care to re-do the takes but she's the same age at the beginning as Raven Symone is when she joins and Raven is world's better.

Cheers had Ted Danson, Woody Harrelson, Shelly Long, Kirstie Alley, and Kelsey Grammar.

All of which went on to some form of stardom. Woody and Ted are still pretty big names 26 years later. Also spawned one of, if not the, most successful spin-offs of all time.

Only one actor had any real success after Fresh Prince.

Not one side character on the Prince matches up to Norm or Cliff.
