There is no way the movie can convince anyone that Rachel Zegler is such a transcendent beauty that Gal Gadot is murderously jealous.
I dunno. Women can be crazily insecure. Just because GG is objectively more attractive doesn't mean that she couldn't be concerned about it.

The problem for the film is the damage is already done. Box office gurus are saying presales show an opening weekend between 35-40 mil right now. That would be very bad.

i'm sure a website called "DisInsider" is completely objective and is probably full of negative reviews for the many Disney and Marvel flops

He probably does agree with him, but saying he was "REAL mad" just because he reposted something seems like a stretch. Also I think the libsoftiktok account kinda proves that reposting something doesnt mean you agree with it wholeheartedly

I can't speak for all of us, but I have zero interest in seeing this movie.
I'd imagine the majority of viewership will be young girls with their moms.

As evidenced by the folks latching onto "adapted for a modern audience"
The last Disney version was released in 1937, its safe to say the audiences were very different even if you only count the normal mother-daughter viewers.

I don't doubt that the movie is "good". How could you screw it up in the first place? That is the real challenge. The story is as straightforward as it gets.
Does the lousy PR keep girls and their moms, gays, and fat Disney women from making this a success?

The original cartoon came out in 1937 and very evidently so. There's a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird! Weird. So we didn't do that this time. We have a different approach to what I'm sure a lot of people will assume is a love story just because we cast a guy in the movie, Andrew Burnap, great dude. But it's really not about her love story at all, which is really, really wonderful. All of Andrew’s scenes could get cut, who knows? It’s Hollywood, baby!

They did a ton of reshoots and added alot of CGI since that dumbass opened her mouth. I think the backlash forced Disney to make a decent movie.

The only Disney remakes that I've seen were The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast (because the originals were so important to myself and my kids). I've passed on the rest, but this praise (or promotion) has me intrigued enough to test this movie out (at least through the first Gadot scene).
