How does girls buying air force ones hurt males?

I think that's a terrible strawman argument. It would be a great argument if they hadn't mishandled their male characters.. If you won't concede that point there's no reason for us to engage in discussion.

Regarding the venue? It find it doubtful that the same people arguing the shirt was innocuous would have been so sanguine if a male IP executive wore a shirt which said "the force is male" or "the future is male".

It would have been unwise and almost certainly a fireable offense. Irrespective of whether the audience was all male. Irrespective of whether underachieving boys need encouragement. Irrespective of the history of Star Wars being an IP which has predominantly appealed to nerdy boys and men.

Nike did?

That is a Nike shirt correct?

So what does it have to do with how Disney handled star wars characters besides a lady working for star wars putting it on at an event in 2018? Do you really think kathleen kennedy wearing that shirt at the Archer School for Girls changed JJ Abrams and Rian Johnsons scripts? The Last Jedi came out in 2017, it was already shot.

Surely this is an attempt at being funny or trolling

No matter what your professional stature is you can't wear a T-shirt to work or a speaking engagement and then claim the manufacturer from Pakistan or Bangladesh is responsible

This is ridiculous. Despite the endless loads of money put forth towards marketing to females, has there been ANY significant new female audience? The answer NO.

The 2nd thing is you have to understand how bitter and petty your average progressive female in Hollywood is.

That shirt isnt just a GO GIRLS! its also a "frick YOU MEN!" Shirt.

If there wasnt this childish pettiness to the little Kennedy feminazi agenda, then they would have just shown up on clothes that were just something they typically wear

Wearing those shirts was entirely deliberate and had NOTHING to do with any charity event. They posed for pictures to show the world "THE GIRLS ARE HERE TO frick UP YOUR MAN SPACE!"

You have been living under a rock if you cant see this.

Hollywood HATES men and ESPECIALLY young boys....DESPISES THEM.

Just looked at the Pixar list of films.

I've seen 1 out of their last 12 movies. Saw all 16 of the previous films. Loved Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Inside Out, and even liked Cars, but the sequels just never looked appealing. I do eventually want to watch Coco.

I will say, Toy Story 4 had a good villain. Gaby Gaby was legit. Though she did have a little bit of a redemption and wasn't fully evil. I know you didn't like TS4 and it wasn't necessary but it was very good. I wanted them to stop with 3, that ending was perfect. But 4 was much better than I was expecting and Woody's arc was done really ell.

It was a Nike Ad Campaign for Air Force One shoes.... They didnt print the shirts for Disney, they made them to sell Nike shoes

stop catering to the overly vocal minority, and make movies with some testosterone in them.

Do you think the women in the photo were wearing those shirts to represent some shoes or star wars?

Disney has a ton of male content they own in the 20th Century Fox library including Alien, Predator, and Die Hard. I believe they even own Hellraiser now. Maybe they should rebranding Alien Earth to Disney's Alien Earth

Nike was giving the shirts out at an event at an all girls school. Women visiting the school put them on as a fun gesture, a bunch of grifters saw them and said "look they are saying frick male fans of star wars" and spread them around to their incel audiences. And some of you still believe it was a star wars shirt that they came up with/made years later.

I agree the scripts failed Kylo and Finn. Im not sure it was intentional to tank 2 of their 3 planned leads to carry the franchise forward and I am sure it had nothing to do with a Nike female shoe campaign shirt being worn after the Last Jedi had already botched the characters.

My problem with TS4 is almost entirely how it relates to TS3. TS3 has about as perfect of an ending that has ever been put to film and TS1-3 are all masterpieces. I would not have had the reaction had they simply released it on Disney+ rather than in theaters.

On its own terms, I’d give TS4 a three and a half out of four stars. It’s fine for what it is, I’m just mad that it fricked up perfection. Plus I find the fair, the antique shop, and making arts and crafts really bottom of the barrel concepts for toys coming to life.

That being said I do think TS5 has a better concept to the toys relating to tablets and electronics because you can see on a day to day basis how that has warped kids from what they were say a decade or so ago. You could make the tablet into a pretty sadistic and selfish villain if you want, which I hope they do.

And speaking of that and another film that has already been greenlit and demands a great villain is Inside Out 3. Now this villain’s concept will really piss off the Woke and the LGBT+ community (not sane gay people though), and the main villain should be Pride. Make it an outright villainous emotion that only cares about itself and everything else be damned. Pride is the original and worst sin for it is through Pride that all sin originates.

Have the movie occur when Riley starts college, Pride comes in with the Seven Deadly Sins as his henchmen, have Bryan Cranston voice him, and make him look something like Mister Negative, and you have a great all time classic Disney villain on your hands:

Ive already read all that. It is 100% a nike shirt and a nike ad campaign.

You can still buy the shirt on stockX.

Your redditor is in denial and is insinuating Nike made these shirts and nike launched the ad campaign before kathleen kennedy wore the shirt but she wasnt wearing the shirt for the nike ad campaign? It was a disney idea?

Take a look in a mirror bud.

We aren't saying that Nike didn't make the shirts. We are saying that specific picture has nothing to do with a Nike ad campaign. We know that, you know that, but you will deny deny deny because being a fricking dumbass is what you do best.

Look at all the Nikes in this picture. Obviously it was all about the shoes
