so your argument in support of Disney is that there arent actually, literally ZERO male heroes in Star Wars now. very well

I mean this is what i responded to

Its always been obvious their goal was to destroy the male characters and replace each one with a new progressive female character.

So more remakes? Im not sure how many more folk/fairy tales they can pull up like snow white, Cinderella, beauty and the beast that they havent already done.

They are disney adaptations, not disney original stories. Im not surprised they arent able to routinely create stuff that matches stuff that they stole from others that was already successful enough to last hundreds of years.

Yeah that's a great point. Jafar was a monster.

Disney made themselves the villain instead of making new villains

Lol why do people keep posting that Nike Air Force Ones picture?

Because that there is the problem. “The Force is Female?” No the Force doesn’t have a sex. It’s that stupidity and lack of understanding led to the disaster that was Disney’s Star Wars

It is a relevant picture for pretty obvious reasons. It embodies the problem in a significant way.

Being against sexism is inconsistent with saying things like "the future is female" or "the force is female". The political activist, the Hollywood bubble dweller, or Disney executive are all guilty of shitting all over the rights of young men to be equal participants in culture and society.

That isn't a trivial problem or grievance. You are practically demanding boys and young men become either completely apathic and non-partivcpatiry or become actively hostile (if not violently opposed) to the institutions pushing them down.

bullshite. Disney is the place where IPs go to get girlified. Look at what they did the Star Wars. 100% was a dude franchise and they turned into girl power.

Even if someone agrees with all this, using a picture from a PR event at an ALL GIRLS school trying to sell a shoe brand that was and still is dominated by sales to males isnt the most genuine way to approach it.

How does girls buying air force ones hurt males?

Not to even mention Disney didnt appoint Kathleen Kennedy to head Lucasfilm, that was George Lucas.

Give me some villains of that caliber

No Cruela?

I joking but I thought we were supposed to be getting the sequel to Cruela this year but there hasnt been any news.

I did enjoy that live action (mostly because Emma Stone)

It honestly surprises me more that Disney has strayed away so far from the money printing princess musical model.

It’s kind of insane actually.

Interests change in different young adult and adult demographics but the world doesn’t stop producing 3-6 year old girls and parents willing to buy them shite.
