Anyone else notice that the DTV menus look like 420p? I have a beautiful tv that when I stream amazon or Netflix, everything is crisp and pretty. Then, I go to DTV and I feel like I’m looking at the original Nintendo menus.
I’ve tried to change it but regardless what I do, it’s still 8-bit.

I have to really squint and lean forward to read DirecTV text. I don't know what it is, but it usually looks a little blurred or something. But like you said, no problem with the menus on Netflix or Prime.

Got to love how responsive they are too. Press a button, wait 1-2 seconds to see if the remote works, crap it seems it doesn't work, press another and another...finally DirectTV wakes up and goes crazy from the button pushing.

Thank you three for reporting on seeing the same problems we have.
My husband has moved things around, new batteries in the remote, etc. If we want to search etc. we move a chair closer to the set, needs to be about eight feet to work, ten to twelve feet, set ignores us.

I’ve noticed this as well. It didn’t used to be this way. DTV menus used to be screaming fast, much faster than Cox.

They've gotten that AT&T "upgrade".

Yep, something changed about 3-4 months ago. I HATE the new menus. and the response time is shite.

Im glad im not the only one. My DTV has been so damn slow scrolling through the guide. Takes me a damn year to find what I want to watch.

They destroy Charter's menu/info graphics.
