That list is actually pretty crappy.
Little Big League and Rookie of the Year (Films about a 12 boy getting involved with MLB)
Babe and Gordy (Films staring piglets)

I mean really?

A special ops/government badass gets double cross by his mentor, becomes wanted by the people he works for, sets out to clear himself by breaking into a impenetrable place to steal something that will help him. Plan also involves a daring stunt involving jumping out a plane with no parachute or riding a speeding train and jumping from a helicopter on said train.

This is what I'm looking for, not just two movies with the same story lines and plots like "Armageddon"/"Deep Impact" and "White House Down"/"Olympus has Fallen"

The two sets of movies I listed in the OP are completely different, but can be described with the same explanation.

Armageddon and Deep Impact

I think this would be a great pair for the OP to use. I enjoyed them both. Though I think Deep Impact may have had the better cast (but both casts were pretty great), Armageddon was the better movie. Better script I guess.

A group of people are going to be raided by a stronger group so they seek aid from an outside source who shows them how to fight for themselves.

Seven samurai, a bugs life, galaxy quest, high plains drifter, the three amigos, etc.

Wasn't the ending of the first Avengers almost exactly the same like the ending to either the 2nd or 3rd Transformers movie. Like almost exactly the same?
