Listen assholes, i know these aren't amazing oscar winning movies. But they are movies i grew up with, and i always found the dialogue sections on there to be the parts i remember the most.
You're on the M/TV board. You'd of been better off using a scene from Breaking Bad as an example.
I get what you're saying, though. I always liked the girls voice over about the creature stealing the men of her village during the hot months while Dutch and company are staring into the woods in Predator. Music, the uncertainty of the men, etc. Great scene.

You're still wording this wrong since in a perfect movie, every single line of dialog should move the plot forward.

I agree with you. I love the exposition. And i think godzilla was a very enjoyable movie. It was good popcorn entertainment and some good themes

Well they can't all be Pulp Fiction.

Aside from destroying New York and making fun of critics who don't like his movies, name one theme in that atrocious film? It's in my Top 5 most hated.

I find that some of my favorite parts to movies, are the dialogue parts on some action films. I know i'm not explaining it correctly, but take these parts for example.
I think the best example of this might be the scene from Jaws where the three of them are bullshitting in the boat galley, talking about their scars and the USS Indianapolis, etc...

I didn't mind it at first, but on repeat viewings of Inception. It is really bad that when the mission begins, the protagonists speak in dialogue that is only meant to be spoken to the audience to explain what is going on. I don't mind a bit of exposition, but the only thing they are not doing is looking right at the camera and saying it directly to you.

unforgiven
"you sire just shot an unarmed man!"
"well...he should have armed himself"

You are either trying too hard to be a dick, or you don't understand what i'm getting at.
