Also, while I loved it and this was the best season since the 1st, the ending pretty much ripped off the ending of 24 season 1.

Can't believe this isn't getting more recognition.

Wouldn't she just leave the baby in the carseat in the taxi and run in and out of the house real quick to get it?

There is no f'm way my toddler is left in a cab by themselves with some cab driver (I have a 3 year old and a one year old). Ofcourse I may just be over paranoid LOL

I think they are going to go with the "Trinity killer figured out that Deb was on to him, so he hurt someone close to her" theory when next season starts. I don't think Batista saw trinity, as his back was turned and they would have no reason to view that footage. Sooner or later I think Debra will figure things out, but I think she will be O.K. with it. All in all I thought this was a really good season. I've always felt season 2 was the best and this one was right there with it. The writing for this show is the best on T.V. Can't think of another show that leaves me wanting to see next week's/season show/shows more then this one.

...... and for the record, Season 3 would have been just as good as the other three with a "whoa baby" ending like the others all had. The season in itself was great.

That actually crossed my mind, but I guess it was better than having Trinity kill the baby while making Rita watch and then having Dexter explain how everything happened when he came home.

when you think about it... this would have been a great way to end the whole series. everything has come full circle. (granted i love the show and am looking for another season).

laura moser was killed because of harry's involvement. he talked her into the situation where she was killed. dexter put rita in harm's way as well. now dexter will have to raise harryson with the code just like harry raised dexter.

most interesting thing about the season. dexter got rita killed just as harry got dexter killed. dexter was found in blood and harryson was also found in blood. this indicates harryson will likely end up being just like dexter and dexter will have to teach harryson harry's code.

and as a previous poster said, I really hope that Quinn doesn't start trailing Dexter a la Doakes. I don't think that'l happen simply because the writers are better than that. Also, I'm glad the new season is starting 3-6 months in time after the Rita's death.

No parent in their right mind would leave their child with a taxi driver while they ran into their house or anywhere else.

Drama much? But even if I accept your premise, she could have taken Harrison inside and not bothered taking the carseat out. Those things are a bitch to install and uninstall.

If the flight was late enough in the day she would not have gone immediately back to the airport so she would have let the cab leave and called for another one later in the day.

That is the only logical explanation.

To literally run inside and grab an ID of a shelf, yes, I think it's paranoid to worry about that.

Did everyone miss the fact that Rita changed her flight and came home to STAY for a while until the next flight was sceduled to take off.

It was very effective the way the writers chose to show us dead Rita. Seeing her actually die in the tub would have been too much (though I would have liked to see them boobies). The whole thing with the cell phone was suspenseful as hell.

Actually I will stick with the "my 1 year old should not be left in a running car with a stranger" club.

Just out of curiosity (serious question), where do you as a parent draw the line. If you are cool leaving your 1 year old in a running cab while you go in a house... would you leave your kid in the car at a store if you were just getting milk? Again serious question... I just cant imagine leaving a 1 year old in a strangers possession for s millisecond... I just cant.

Maybe, maybe not. Haven't really thought about it.

Maybe part of my indifference is that I've taken A LOT of cab rides in my life (6 just in the past week), so I guess that makes me more comfortable.

i want to thank you all for being such awesome parents that you take an internet thread about a fake tv show about serial killers and turn it into "I would never as a parent...." Your kids really don't understand how much better they have it than the fake kids of serial killers on fake tv shows.

You are dead wrong on this Jersey. You don't know the damn cab driver. He could just disappear with your kid.

That would be stupid to leave your kid with a total stranger for ANY amount of time in the world we live in today.

And as people continue to say, the flight must have been several hours later so she decided to stay home until the later flight.

This is really nit picky, but i dont think the kid would have stayed sitting there in the dark for hours without moving.

That time of the month for you?

Jersey posted that it was a hole in the plot that she did not leave her kid in a cab and a few of us responded back that no it wasnt in our opinion because we as parents wouldnt have done that (thus it is not a hole in the plot in our opinions).

To the extent this is too difficult for a retard like you to comprehend... it sounds like a 'you' problem.

I could be wrong but the kid is fairly newborn. He isn't walking age and I am not sure he is a crawler yet either. Plus he can see his mother right there in the tub. Where else would he go? He has no concept that she is dead?

I think he could crawl, but like i said its a bit nit picky. I'm sure the writers had an end goal in mind before they new how they were gonna get there. Its just tough to write it in perfectly.
