Already watched the 1st episode of it. So far so good. A lot of drama already going on. Hopefully the rest of the show is just as good. Enjoying it already. Also Captain Flint doesn't seem like he's good at his job so far.

Kicks arse and gets much better as the extensive groundwork in the first season starts to pay off.
its a shame Starz/Lionsgate have always been terrible at promoting their shows b/c Black Sails should have been a water cooler show like Game of Thrones.

One of my all time favorite shows. The character arcs are some of the best I've seen. I want to say I remember their budget being low s1 and then got a massive boost for the remaining seasons.

The island they are on is an anomaly. More than half the population turns out to be bisexual. But Its a really good show. Anne Bonney is beautiful, but the French bitch gets annoying.

Tried is 2x and couldn’t get past 4/5 episodes. Finally pushed through S1 and it got amazing and ended up one of my favorite shows

Excellent show. You should watch the rest. One of the few epics that actually has a satisfying ending as well. Enjoy!

It’s great that you already like it after one episode. The first half of the first season or so it is kinda slow and not much happens. But it’s still enjoyable though. But after that it picks up and is pretty amazing.
