DCU Lanterns Episode 2 Beats Premiere Numbers, Passes House of the Dragon on HBO Charts

Madking this week after it had a top 5 all time premiere for HBO...

I'm not complaining about the slow burn aspect really either, it just seems like a good chunk of the episode was kind of pointless. The whole sequence of Hal bringing out the alien bodies was rendered moot when the small town sheriff was just like "Yeah, I knew about the alien detectors already." I also don't understand why he dragged out all three bodies when he just needed one.
I also feel like they're over explaining some things. Like it was obvious the bird thing was impressive just due to hal's facial expression when John created it. They then reiterated how impressive it was with the aliens commenting on it; and finally they just had John say he was told it was impressive by the aliens.
To that end, is John a superior green lantern in comic book lore? I admittedly know very little about the lore.
I did like the sequence with the aliens kidnapping john and going over the manhunter stuff and the Sinestro bit was cool and has me interested. It wasn't all bad, just not as good as the premiere for me.

Not sure who did that but you realize that is encouraging normal M/TV board conversation right? A financial update on a summer blockbuster.
But seeing as you had like 500 posts in that thread alone and never saw the movie I can see how just a normal movie update would bother you.

House of Dragons was a diarrhea fart of a show. It had so much potential and just fricking sucked this season.

Kyle Chandler seems like a likable dude, both on and off screen. Passes the "beer" test. I'd definitely like to get a beer with him and talk about sports and shite.
