Danny Masterson charged with rape

Daniel Masterson on Wednesday was charged by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office with raping three women.
The alleged separate incidents occurred between 2001 and 2003, according to authorities.
The That '70s Show star was charged with three counts of rape by force or fear. The case was filed for warrant Tuesday, according to the district attorney's office.
Masterson is accused of raping a 23-year-old woman between January and December 2001. The actor is alleged to have raped a 28-year-old woman in April 2003. And, sometime between October and December of 2003, according to authorities, the actor is accused of raping a 23-year-old woman who he had invited to his Hollywood Hills home.
Los Angeles police began investigating Masterson over sexual-assault claims in 2017.

These charges would have come out sooner if he hadn’t been protected by Scientology for so long.

I love That 70's show and remember some of these rumors when the show was in it's initial run. I always believed they were true because of the Scientology backstory. Apparently Danny is a huge piece of shite.

He was a Scientologist. The accusation was that the church bought influence to pressure law enforcement into ignoring complaints against them. It wasnt like these accusations came out of nowhere. The police simply refused to investigate them.
That all changed when a mountain of negative press about the church began to become public along with its "close" relationship with law enforcment. The PDs hand was forced.

Mackenzie and her father, the Mommas and the Poppas singer, apparently carried on an incestuous sexual relationship for years, almost 20 years I think.

It's not what you know, it's what you can prove. IIRC, there was a whole Danny Masterson ex-girlfriend episode of Scientology: The Aftermath with Leah Remini, a few years ago.

Cedric, lead singer of The Mars Volta, has been pretty vocal for years on claims that his wife has made about Masterson raping her. It wouldn't surprise me if she is one of the three women.
