Creature Commandos Trailer- Official launchpad of James Gunn's DC Universe

Looks like it could be interesting. Looks very James Gunn to me and not so DC. That's what has me worried about Gunn's vision to be honest- more about what he does and less about classic DC. We'll see.

I'm sure it'll a fun show but it looks like just another suicide squad film, just with new characters. It's also odd to start the universe with this.

My first takeaways:
• Gunn still loves his Dirty Dozen team movies.
• They're keeping Amanda Waller from the previous Universe (which makes me wonder if that will happen in his live action films).
• Max will continue with the adult animation (Harley, Kite Man, etc.).

Review embargo lifted. The consensus seems to be it's very good. It's been described as violent, gory, and purposely juvenile. Lots of no spoiler first impressions on youtube from various vloggers. The animation is supposedly decent but unremarkable. First two episodes tomorrow night on Max.
