i enjoyed it. once the 2 years of their community college tenure is up, the show makes up random arse reasons for them to remain in school. then it gets stupid. half the cast leaves after that.

Seasons 1 and 2 are the pinnacle of TV in my opinion.
Season 3 is great at times, but the season arc falls flat for me in retrospect.
The creator was fired for Season 4 and it was like the Simpsons after the golden years. Good, but just doesn't seem to understand what made it good.
Harmon came back for Season 5, and has it's moments.
Season 6 exists just because. It's good because it's more Community and gives finality to the series.

Very little of this is true. Minus one character, the cast remains intact throughout the entire nbc run. A couple more members left for the final Yahoo season. I'd call the entire NBC run great, with the Yahoo stuff being merely good.

The last two seasons get better every time I rewatch them.
Both take an episode or two to get you used to the new character they’ve introduced and then it feels like old community again

Also for some reason community is the hardest show for me to get someone to watch

I think the limited streaming option and non descriptive name hurt it

Man, It thought this show got canceled after season 2 or 3 for whatever reason. I liked it when it was on TV. Looks like it is only on Hulu subscription, which I get through my Spotify subscription so I'm gonna have to start rewatching.

Community was always at its worst everytime they thought “hey let’s make Chang the focal point of the show”
Luckily that’s the only season they go full into that.

Super inventive show with some absolutely unique and outstanding episodes.
That and the strength of the core cast for most seasons put it up near the top of the list of most fun sitcoms to watch.

I forgot they did that. I'm not sure I ever saw the yahoo season. Guess I'll have to binge watch from the beginning again to get caught up so I can watch the final season. Haha
