It's a great show. To me it takes about half of the first season to really become great though.

It's similar to Arrested Development, you have to pay attention to each episode. You can't turn your brain off and wait for the laugh track. There's an entire story line that happens in the background, jokes that pay off multiple episodes later. It's so much more rewarding when you catch those things in real time.

God I love this show. I’m home sick and crying laughing.

I know this is a bumped thread, but just wanted to chime in on how awesome this show is. It’s pretty unique in what it does, and it isn’t afraid to take chances. Sure, some of those chances don’t land well, but even the weaker episodes are still entertaining. But the ones that so land, they land hard and are excellent television.

I even got a much greater appreciation for what’s considered the “bad” season upon several rewatches.

Definitely one of my favorites. We got our six seasons, just waiting on the movie…

It’s nearing GRRM levels with how often they tease a movie but Harmon said this week that a script is written and they are working on getting it started

Really? I had no idea. But that’s great news. Hope it eventually happens. I’d be all in.

I may have been too strong by saying they had a script or caught a bad headline, I just looked it back up he said it’s been pitched and been in the works for a long time and is a matter of when and not if

Feel like most of the cast have had their moment following the show and may have plenty of time now to do it, outside of probably Glover.

I watched last night for the first time. It’s great but would be 100 times better if it was on HBO or MA rating instead of TV Rated 14

Trying to explain to people the internet hype around “The Cape” is getting harder and harder as we get further away from it

Didn't they remove an episode from a lot of the platforms?

I seem to recall an issue with Chang as the dark elf in the D&D episode. But I watched it last night on prime.

Yeah, the episode with Chang as a dark elf is removed from Netflix. This is a shame, because it’s one of the best episodes of the series and is pretty critical from a character development standpoint.

It's also a shame because it's not racist but was removed because they said it was racist.

The joke is that he’s not in black face but he’s in black face.

It sucks that they removed it because it is a great episode.

I’m a huge Dan Harmon fan, and it’s jsut been incidental. I watched Acceptable TV back in the day and then got into Community and Rick and Morty before I knew He was involved in all of them.

Community has some of the best episodes in television history. It’s not consistent enough for it to be in my all time greats but it’s up there.

I’ve met Donald Glover Aka childish gambino at the bar.

Honestly the lows aren’t even that bad. Really just the gas leak season. Which id argue is a more consistent run that some of the other big name sitcoms it gets compared to

Season 5 and 6 and the red headed step child because of the different casts but they are legit good/great seasons and I’ll die on that hill
