Is this show worth binging? Been on the fence about watching it for about a year, I've heard good things but not sold on it.

If you've heard good things...what else needs to be said to be sold to "try" it? Just watch it and give it a shot.

That being said...I think it's great. Not my favorite comedy of all time, but it's top-5 or 10.

Its one of my favorites ever.

It hits the highest highs of maybe ANY comedy ever. It just has a lot of lows and inconsistencies.

Its so funny though, but you have to like its style which is...bizarre.

Basically just riff after riff on pop culture.

I binged it a few months ago for the first time and have no regrets. Even found season 4 and 6 enjoyable which many people didn't like, tho.

It takes a few episodes to find its rhythm but when it does it is great.

It's fairly decent. It isn't as great without Troy and Pierce but it still has funny moments.

all this. the first three seasons are amazing, some of the best of all time, IMO. but it's humor is definitely a bit off-beat. 4th slacks off because the creator and original showrunner left and Chevy Chase apparently started being a full time arse. so you can tell there are a lot of weird shots to cut him in and the like. 5th gets better again when Harmon returned, but Chase and Glover leave, and it just can't capture the magic of the first three. sort of like arrested development, but the later seasons are at least watchable and pretty funny with community. can't even remember if I've seen the 6th season, but I just started binging it w my 14 year old, so I guess I'll find out.

It's cute, and occasionally hilarious. I don't know if I could binge it, but I watch an episode or two every now and then

lol so what would you need to be sold?

If you enjoy comedies, then yeah you should watch it. After its first 3 seasons it could stand right there with arrested development, 30 rock, office, parks and rec, etc as being in that elite comedy tier. As others mentioned it dipped due to staffing and writing issues but if you're going to binge all 6 straight through you're porbably not gonna care that much.

BHut to answer the ultimate question of "is this show worth binging" the answer is unequivocally YES.

That's one way to put it. Another way to put it would be the idiots at NBC forced him out.

Season 6 is actually pretty good and the finale is great. It's definitely not the same without Chevy and Donald but still enjoyable.

Overall, Community is easily a top 5 comedy of all-time.

I think it’s my favorite sitcom of all time at this point. I’ve rewatched it so many times

The show improved when Chevy left imo.

Impossible to truly replace Glover but Season 5 and 6 both are great in their own respects and get better every time I revist them. It takes you a while to get used to the cast in both seasons but eventually it all gels and they pull off excellent season finales/series finales.

Keith David as Elroy is quickly moving up my rankings in the shows hierarchy. Him smoozing white people scene is some of the funniest stuff the shows ever done
