Even in the hyperactive over-the-top 80s masculinity.. Commando...is...well, sorta crazy.
A one man army takes out about 100 guys.
And lets not forget the most ridiculous Arnold scene of all-time.
.
Nothing like the Everglades softening a fall from a height greater than the Empire State building.
It's America's Bollywood movie.
Without the singing and dancing.

Seen where he lets Sully go off the cliff you can see the wire attached to his ankle. Also when he flips the Porsche back over there isnt a dent in it. there are so many bad effects in that movie.

It gets lost in the pantheon of that era of Arnold films - folks gravitate to the more science fiction/fantasy stuff (Conan, Terminator/T2, Predator) OR the more comedy based stuff (Kindergarten Cop, Twins, even True Lies).
But, Commando is one of the best, unintentionally funny, yet at the same time fun, popcorn action movies ever, ever.

To flight attendant after he killed the guy next to him,
"Don't wake my friend, he's dead tired!"
"Sully you know how I said i would kill you last? I lied!"
"Come on Bennett use the knife! Let's party!"
The original actor hired to play Bennett was replaced because they said he was not the least bit intimidating next to Arnold.

And Vernon Wells was in gay bear attire? I still maintain Arnold should have said "Bennett, what the frick are you wearing?" and it would have fit right in with the movie
