It's not just this film, it's the exact same steel drum beat and melody used in 48 Hours as well 4 year earlier. James Horner scored both movies and just ripped himself off for a paycheck, and nobody gave a shite because everyone involved was on mountains of cocaine at the time.

The scene where Arnie scalps a guy by throwing a saw blade at his head and then chops another dude's arm off with a machete gets me every time.

The arcade game’s music is still etched in my brain.
