this show has been about as consistent at knowing what it is and staying true to itself as any I can think of.

yeah, not every show can hold an audience for as long as this one has.

have they mentioned when season 6 will be released?

Daniel will likely have his own victory with Sam winning the girls tournament, in his Miyagi moment.

The final shot of the finale should be Daniel looking on at Sam winning and giving the Miyagi nod.

I did think it was hilarious that all these kids that see themselves as total badasses decided to have a water slide race to see who gets to stay and swim at a water park.

And the show is so bad it's good, and it's good because the bad is intentional. Hell, the situations and dialogue are so predictable, my wife asked me if I had watched this before since I kept predicting lines all season. But that's what makes the show so fun IMO, that it's predictable and corny, but that it's on purpose.

I must be in the minority but I think this season is hot garbage. They have run out of original cast from the movies to bring out and the story is terrible. It’s time to kill it while it still has some dignity.

Except that Sam didn't technically lose. I still think Tori is the better fighter and as Chozen said, with her mom, home life situation and being cheated out of the All Valley tournamen

Id rather Tori win for real, she deserves it more and struggles more. She's a better person than Sam has been too, with her life being harder. It could give her a career tbh..Sam will never have to worry about anything financially whilst starting her drama between men.

Idk man. It's got a pretty medium to high score on most review sites. I think the difference is that the showrunners and the actors and now the audience KNOWS it's cheesy and it doesn't shy away from it or take itself too seriously. If it took itself too seriously...like KK3...then yeah it would be bad

I guess. I just know Ralph Machio may be the worst actor ever. This is why his young career did not translate to a lifetime of great parts. Because he is a damn terrible actor.

And the Johnny 1985 stuff was great in the first but they are overdoing it. I still watch and still enjoy but it is cringeworthy at times

It reminds me of The Ranch. I watched that show. I enjoyed it a lot. But it was hot garbage at times.

It holds true to the original films in so many ways. Terrible acting, terrible action sequences, terrible dialog, unbelievable situations and very predictable results.

Yet, we all find ourselves rooting for the characters like they are our 80's gooberish friends.

Terrible acting

Honestly it does feel like a lot of times they filmed one take of a scene and then were like "we got it" and moved on. The acting is hilariously bad at times, especially with the kid actors. It's like each one is waiting their turn to just read their lines off of cue cards just offscreen. The water park scene is a great example of that IMO.

I think Miguel has been the best out of the kids as far as acting goes. But, I guess he's had the most dramatic scenes to explore that.

With robbie its usually just confusion or anger, hawk was better earlier on when you got to see more of his life away from everyone else, Sam and tori are vulnerability or anger on whatever given day..

They should know 80% of people watching are watching for Johnny, Silver, Chozen, Daniel etc.

And then she lead an breaking and entering/assault mob on a person's home, and then attempted to assault Sam with nunchucks after Sam tried to run and hide. Tori definitely had her issues at the end of season 2 and throughout season 3.
