Chuck promises to cook dinner for Ellie, Devon and Hannah, but must first complete a mission that involves him impersonating the world's most dangerous assassin. Meanwhile, Sarah tries to keep her relationship with Shaw strictly professional.

If Sarah starts to become interested in Shaw I'm going to be pissed. Hannah is hawt and all but Sarah and Chuck just need to get their shite together.

I read on Chuck.net or something that because the Chuck/Sara relationship has gotten ice cold it has gone from "Will they or Won't They" to "They Will, Won't They?"

People seem to think that they writers have killed off all romantic plots between them.

That was a dick move by Chuck at the end of the show. Didn't buy he'd do that dump at parents' dinner.

Show has gone down since first season.

WRONG, Wrong, wrong, WRONG!!!!

The tension between them is what keeps the show interesting. Look at what happened to The Office when Jim and Pam got together, it wrecked the show. Look what happened on Moonlighting when Bruce Willis and Cybil Shepherd got together, steady decline from that moment on.

Romance rarely works in real life, why should it work on TV. People can relate to wanting something you can't have.

This episode was pretty good last night. I give it 7/10.

SPOILERS

Anyone else find it extremely creepy and inappropriate for Shaw to be macking on Sarah? The way he looks at her is almost like a stalker.

Also Casey is the f'king man!

I realize they want the show to progress and damsel in distress Chuck was getting annoying, but "the training wheels are coming off"? I just don't see the show working as well if Chuck is a competent spy.

This. I liked the episode a lot until that point. Just let the kid be happy in a relationship and let the show get tension somewhere other than the Chuck/Sarah relationship. That move pissed me off.

Well he was breaking up with her not b/c he can't be attached as a spy but b/c he wanted to be back with Sarah -- IMO.

But, it was sort of unbelievable he'd pick that time to do it.

What about Casey? Is he in the ring? What was that flash about?

Yeah of course, and she is off with crappy Superman. Not a good move for the show I liked Kruek's character

Don't know, but Casey has been a good character this season.

Yeah, I agree that Sarah is making a bad move here.

And Casey has grown on me from the first season for sure. I do feel bad with him getting passed over for chuck on missions though for some reason.

I'm interested to see where his flash takes the script...

Yeah, they've rounded his character really well.

Awesome has been solid this season as well. All of his scenes have been funny.

The Sarah name change thing seems really contrived

Episode was solid otherwise

I thought that it was just some kind of flash about Casey being used as a hitman
didn't think too much about it, but maybe there's more too it!!

Casey is a badass. He's a funny character and all, and they made him out to be this cliche of a military guy but I think they'll write him to be more badass as the season(s) go on.

I hope so. He's my favorite character in the show.

i think the flash was just foreshadowing to Casey being able to make that shot, They had said only a few people could do it. So they used the flash to set up the fact that Casey is one of those people.

SuperDouche needs to back off of Sarah. I have a feeling he is gonna end up being in the Ring. I bet they wanted him dead because he is playing both sides of the court.

Yeah, that would be a good short-run explanation... but even if that was the only part of the writer's intent, it's def open ended to where it could play a bigger role -- if case IS one of those 5 people b/c he was some sort of hit man or has special skills via Chuck's flash, I'm sure we'll be seeing more of it.
