In her prime, back in the “Jerry McGuire” days, I never thought Renee Zellweger was close to being hot.

No. She wasnt. Even as a 10 year old when i watched it for the first time i thought she looked like a dude. More so the second she slicked her hair back. Mrs doubtfire is more feminine than " sexy JLC"

2000's: Beyonce, Kristin Bell
2010's: Anna Kendrick; pinched faced weasel that was in very popular but very bad movies.
2020's: Zendaya; objectively plain and boring and annoying; Taylor Swift can go here too but at least she can sing and play guitar.
No one ever thought Maggie Gillenhall was hot. Actresses can get by on talent alone.

Perhaps I wasn’t clear, but my comment about strange taste had more to do with who I don’t find attractive than who I do. Jennifer Connolly is pretty much a universal hot, but Anya Taylor Joy is not widely accepted as hot, but I find her to be hot, particularly in the Queen’s Gambit.
