Adam Driver had been rumored to play Sebastian Shaw for a few weeks.

Adam Driver was the big one they got right and the Xavier casting was one the names floated around

Sounds like Marvel's wanted him for a while, but he probably doesn't want to sign up for a long term deal. Sinister is likely just one film.

The character was Kenyan. There was a storyline that made her a young pickpocket in Cairo, but she wasn't Egyptian.

As long as they nail the hair she’ll be fine. Storm was one of my favorites during my early 80’s comic book run. IIRC she was worshipped as a goddess in her youth due to her abilities and had a formal, elegant air to her because if she got emotional bad things happened.
My fear is that they’re trying to throw so many characters at this not many of them will have much to do with the story. I hope they’re smart with how they roll this out.
