I saw a post somewhere saying they should have Chris's spirit bond with the car she was in when she was crushed and become "Christine."
It wouldn’t surprise me in the least! LOL

How many, and which actors are from the other Flanagan films? Hill House, Bly Manor, Midnight Mass... ?

I think only Katie Siegel and Samantha Sloyan are in Carrie. I may have missed some though.

There are a bunch more (e.g., Katee Sackhoff, Michael Trucco, Rahul Kohli, Ruth Codd, Crystal Balint, etc.).

He should have just done another season of castle rock if he wanted to tie her story in with the king universe. I miss that series.

This series went off the rails during the last episode.

Now we will get to know which characters are a part of the LGBTXYZ community.
I'm sure we'll get them but let's be thankful we went eight episodes without even one of the major characters being gay or trans. That's astonishing in these times.
Well Tina is a dude in real life.

Yep, it was still pretty much about Carrie up until that point. Mike Flanagan admitted that he knew fans of the original novel and previous versions would not like what he did with the prom massacre scene. He said that he wanted viewers to root for Carrie and he planned to expand on her story as he links her to the greater Stephen King universe. I assume Carrie will be his heroine going forward and he felt that viewers wouldn't sympatize with her if she was a mass murderer.

Yeah, they changed a lot of stuff in that scene.
Tommy's death for one.
And of course the addition of the "others".
Also, the fire was much bigger in the series.
Side note: I actually like the rumor/idea that Chris's spirit posses the car and it becomes "Christine".

I didn't like how they made Carrie responsible for Tommy's death, even though it was an accident and she was trying to get to Chris and Billy.
The destruction being widespread is exactly how it happens in the novel. Carrie destroys the town as she walks home.

I agree. While I wasn't a fan of a lot of the changes Mike Flanagan made, this origin for Christine would be a cool way to link the stories together.

She's the wannabe mean girl. Even tried to take over as leader of the mean girls. But, her squad were all ugly dorks.

Well, Tina’s a man. Nothing more needs to be said.

When she got undressed, it was a big ole mess. Tina was a man.
