Both owned by Disney, sure.
But Marvel is NOT Star Wars

If you go on twitter and check some reviews, they’re about half and half.
I say 65%
I say 65%

It’s always a crap shoot with mediocre films where you read a review and the author obviously disliked the movie, but the review gets a red tomato and a 3/5 and the single good excerpt is quoted. The opposite rarely happens.

I was going to say low 70's
I don’t really think it will be 98.
I was thinking 80s, but if it doesn’t play up to the “feminism” crowd, it will receive many negative reviews that I assumed would be positives.

If the movie sucks, the reviews will reflect that. . .regardless of how much SJW nonsense is in there. Great example, "Wrinkle in Time" and "What Men Want". . .Both heavily focused on Social Justice. . .both rotten But seriously, even in BP, Marvel movies are rarely social justice-ey. The SJW in BP was the villain
I don’t think it will suck. It’ll be good enough to get a 5 or above from most reviewers without the SJW stuff. Which will give it a high tomatometer score. But I think the actual written reviews will gush over the girl power stuff and ignore actual movie reviewing

And by “makes that determination”, I mean they probably receive some form of payment for putting certain reviews as positive.

So the feminism in the movie is represented only by the soundtrack?
Well. . .that's going to piss off the legions of incels on this board that were gathering up their pitchforks and tiki torches
If the movie fails to do the business Disney was hoping for, they have only Brie Larson to blame. She was the one out there, going on press tours, talking about how she was sick of being interviewed by white men.

The authors/editors may be paid as well. They can remain “honest” while keeping the studio happy meaning they will continue to give access to said publisher.

It'd have been a better time, if you were drunk.

Leaving aside the SJW aspect, which is all a certain segment of people on here care about (whether they are in favor of it or opposed to it), I'm going to predict it lands at 75%, with a possibility it dips down to 65% if the reviews about Larson being really uncomfortable wearing a super hero costume continue to pop up.
When the evil Skrull is being called a far more likeable character then the person you have tapped for a major role in your cinematic universe that is not a good sign.
Now Larson might stink on ice in this movie but crush it in Endgames. Some actors need a certain type of director to bring out a good performance in a movie that has a lot of CGI. We shall see.

I’m thinking an 81 or 82 with an audience around 71

Lot of "Brie Larson is miscast" comments. Gee, I wonder who saw that coming

Vanity Fair had a review posted and mostly went into detail about how much emotion Larson displays in the feel, which is hilarious because that was one of the main complaints about the trailers, how emotionless she was.
It really felt like they wanted to try and lie their arse off to counter the main criticism rather than give a real review. It doea not give me a ton of faith in the movie.
I saw it lands around the 80% mark (maybe up to 85%) and the audience score will likely be in the low 70s or high 60s.

I know it's Rotten Tomatoes, but 86% is pretty high.
