Good news here:

quote:

Soldier thundered to $96.2 million, according to studio estimates from box-office tracker Rentrak.

It also cracked $200 overseas, so $300 million worldwide on a $177 million dollar budget. And Cap 3 is now set for May 6, 2016.

his physique is above average but really obtainable

In order to get that body you have to have a lot of time and money. Enough money to buy yourself the right kind of food and a shitload of it. Personal trainers probably don't hurt either. For the average ordinary joe it wouldn't be impossible but would take a lot of restraint and hard work and doing it for fun...not for money and fame

And time. No way around that. You don't get the proper rest and enough workouts, you're not getting that big.

I think it is time for a Black Widow Origin movie.

Scar Jo playing that character is really that good.

that explains the super vascular lower arms and biceps

So bc his arms are vascular, he must be taking steroids? Lol that's dumb.

Yeah, but I wouldn't even consider them in that picture to be super vascular

Yea for the first CA he said he doing "two a days" to where he was working out each muscle group twice in six days but also training in way that he had never trained before. That's what's these trainers do. Also, Eating so much that he couldn't stand it.

I don't want the Winter Soldier to take over for Cap. He's a great villain. Even now, being conflicted, he makes a great counterpart for Rogers.

That's something I felt the comics shot their load on pretty quickly. He went from debut to being Captain America in a ridiculously short amount of time.

Saw the movie today and really enjoyed it. As I was watching it play out it was very reminiscent of a what if story line from the 90's. It was a two parter where red skull replaces CA and goes on to lead shield and then he uses something similar to the algorithm to track threats, killing Pete, the ff, strange and other would be heroes before they develop their powers.

Later the real cap once again emerges frozen, creates a new group of avengers and they give their lives to eliminate the red skull and the Hydra threat.

I realize the story is completely different but the idea that hydra infiltrates shield and starts eliminating would be supers came from that two part comic.

Also one of the threats I thought the mentioned in the movie was a high school science kid (Pete) unless I heard wrong.

I believe they said "Valedictorian from Iowa" or even Iowa City. I could have heard wrong though.

Might of been I was just thinking about the what if comic when they were talking. I still remember reading that comic and them busting into Pete's room at aunt mays and killing him. It really bothered me because I was such a huge Spider-Man fan growing up

What If put out some pretty cool alternate timeline kind of stories and could get a touch dark back in the day when there wasn't a ton of alternate comics and I think the Comics Code still ruled with a pretty tight fist.

I remember one where the Avengers didn't form but Stark ended up creating iron suits for Wasp and Pym for sure (not sure who else). And one where the Hulk was cured but I think the Thing ended up as mindless. It involved Prof. X some kind of way.

I missed the Red Skull one though that sounds like it would have been a pretty good read.

Besides the valedictorian in Iowa, Sitwell (sp?) also mentions "a man in Cairo" when talking about the targets. I read that this is a reference to the Marvel character Moon Knight. I'm not all that familiar with him but supposedly there are rumors of a television show in the works centered around Moon Knight.

Just got out of the movie. Very well done. Marvel is outpacing DC by leaps and bounds.
