This movie definitely met my expectations, which were high.

I'm now excited for the Black Panther flick, and I didn't think I would be.

After the previews, I'm even less excited about the Ghostbusters flick. I hope it bombs heavily.

there was literally no legitimate reason for Wolverine and company to leave Quicksilver behind after he helped break out Magneto. that aint flawless at all. at least w/Spider-Man and Black Widow you have obvious reasons (Tony realizes he's going to get the kid killed and BW needs to haul arse after helping Cap escape) for why they peace out.

I was so done with Stark by that point, I was hoping they'd cripple him and put him out of the superhero business. Other than his visit to Queens, he was a bitch for the entire movie.

I was 100% with Cap on every decision.

his decision to sign on was insane in light of Cap 2-- yeah in real life having walking unaccountable WMDs insane, in the MCU the last major world security agency was being run by the descendents of literal Nazis- who also had high ranking officials on most of the world's governments. Given that fact why on freaking Earth would Tony sign on, and then he acts all shocked when an all powerful security agency has a freaking Super villain lair as a base.

OTOH after getting back to my hotel Zemo's entire plan fails if Cap doesn't go to Siberia with Bucky-- unless Zemo held off on killing the super soldiers until he saw who showed up i.e. he unleashes them if it's Ross's guys.

So let's get a check on where all the Avengers are
Iron Man- safe
Black Widow- should be safe
Black Panther- keeping Bucky a secret
Captain America- Hiding out in Panther's lair
Bucky- armless and frozen
War Machine- crippled
Vision- safe
Scarlet Witch- locked up
Spider-Man- safe
Hawkeye- locked up
Ant-Man- locked up
Falcon- locked up
Hulk- MIA
Thor- MIA

So yeah they need to get their shite together soon

Why is Bucky frozen? Did I miss something? Edit all Locked Ups to Fugitives.

You must have missed the mid-credits scene. Black Panther helps Cap and Bucky go into hiding in Wakanda. They freeze Bucky using Wakandian technology until they can figure out how to fix his brainwashing.

So I watched it last night and I have a question. Why? What was the point of the movie if the end result is still the same? Seems like it was just to reintroduce Spider-Man.

I get that happened. I just meant there's no resolution. Was this meant to be a 2 parter?

The only thing I didn't really like about the movie was the camera work for the fight scene in Lagos. All of the early action scenes were shot way too close up I thought and it was (intentionally) difficult to gain perspective on what all was going on, especially with Black Widow and Cap.

This was shot in Atlanta at on old railroad yard, so might have something to do with it. And the set was actually designed by an LSU alum

This. They tend to pick and choose what the characters remember from previous movies.

The resolution is that Stark is leading the Avengers that signed the accords and Rogers is hiding out in Wakanda with the Avengers that didn't.

eh.. for the Panther if the world finds out at best they may try sanctions. Any nation or small grouping of nations invading to get Bucky will have about the same success Mexico would have with a military invasion of the US to liberate a Mexican national.
