I searched with no luck (so sorry if posted already), but the Bluth mobile from Arrested Development was apparently in the airport fight scene. Can't believe I missed it.
I went into this one almost entirely blind (knew nothing of the story, hadn't seen any trailers, only had a few character appearances spoiled). It was probably my favorite superhero movie ever. I assumed that I would be pulling for Iron Man and Captain America would be splitting the group for some bullshite nationalistic reason, so I was plenty surprised. I get that people get tired of Steve's being a bit overly moral (it can be dull), but I don't see why those complaints are coming up after this film. Dude was pretty much fighting the UN.

Crossbones dying sucked
This x1000.
And people are saying death doesn't matter. Granted, Crossbones wasn't given time to shine but this stinks.
At the same time, given the slate of films, Crossbones doesn't really have a place and I'm not sure we'll ever get Cap 4 (I hope, but IW mostly likely kills Rogers).
Think about how many real villains were in this movie....Crossbones' team which is put down in the first fight and Zemo. That's it. No big army. No villain with a right hand man and henchman. That's it.

The movie was Civil War

Which as the best part. Any oblivious director would not have had Zemo kill the other Soldiers at the end. That's what I mean, it's refreshing, but even with few villains Crossbones was killed.

thought about that as well...but at the same time then why use him? Maybe he was originally intended to be the bad after Winter Soldier, but then they decided to go with Civil War, who knows.
Another nitpick is maybe I would have had Tony find about WS killing his parents another way, so he shows up to Siberia in pure beserk mode. Mainly because in the trailers I knew there had to be one more fight between them so him re-joining with Cap was going to be short lived.

adly this appears to be the last Captain America movie so this storyline will probably only get minimal movement in other movies until Infinity War comes out in 2018.
since feige became the sole head of the MCU, I'm pretty sure Evans has changed his tune on being done with these once his contract is up.

First, T'Challa is about to sign the Sokovia Accords but then after the bomb he immediately goes after Bucky on his own and say he's going to kill him. He doesn't even wait for UN permission. What a hypocrite.
Wasn't his father the one who was going to sign the Accords? T'Challa wasn't the king of Wakanda until after T'Chaka was killed.

His dad even specifically said "since I know you are not a fan of diplomacy"

That was a twist, I was expecting a confrontation with an Army of Winter Soldiers. Instead Zemo had killed them all and just planned to have Iron Man kill Bucky and force Cap to fight him, destroying the Avengers.
As it stands most of the group is in exile. Will be interesting to see what gets them back together. I doubt we see them at all in Thor , Guardians and Dr. Strange. So the Next time we see the Avengers should be in Black Panther (November 2017), unless that is an origin story.

Well I think the play is to have the Avengers - Tony, War Machine, Vision, Thor, Banner and probably a Cap defector like Black Widow - intermingle in certain films prior to IW. My guess is we'll see a character or two in Dr. Strange and Thor, either in the post-credits or even in the movies themselves.
Cap's Secret Avengers/SWORD will be in Black Panther almost assuredly. Evans hasn't backed down from cameos and Bucky must be a player in BP's world now, which I kind of dig.
Guardians is the outlier, as it should be.

How available is spidery going to be in the MCU going forward ? Will he for sure be a key player in the Infinity War movies ?

You guys realize this isn't a comic book?
This is about making money. They make a shitload of money off of merchandise. You don't kill off your second biggest character just to make a few comic book nerds happy and piss off every kid under 12.
What are they going to do, sell cap action action figures in a coffin?
I think Chris Evans as Cap has changed the way that character has been viewed, by both Marvel and movie fans. Behind Spiderman, he's the most important character to Marvel/Disney. marvel may have initially written that Cap would eventually die, but I think too many people look up to him right now and love him for him to go any where any time soon.
Spiderman is #1, batman is still #2, and Cap has probably overtaken superman as #3, despite probably not being in the top 20 10 years ago.

Oh no I agree. I want Evans to do Cap all the way through Old Man Rogers. But that isn't going to happen.
This isn't about money, or about staying true to the source. This is simply about Evans. I expect Evans to be done with Cap after IW.
Now if they pay him enough, maybe he stays. Or if the last interview about this was honest, maybe (He said something about doing whatever Marvel wants, that he enjoys the character, and it may be the last big role that he ever does or something. He was noncommital but hopeful it sounded like.)

Like I said, Evans has changed his tune since Feige took total control. Feige is much more willing to work with the actors and pay them what they're worth.

yeah Ike wanted Evans to pay for his gym membership for Avengers.

Yeah but how many people outside of someone like a Shatner want to keep playing the same character over and over and over again? I mean, that's why I mentioned that interview. If he was honest, then yeah there's a chance. But I wouldn't blame someone, after 15 years of playing the same character, to want to be done with it.

As long as the films and money are good I'd do it for as long as they wanted me to
Posted on 5/11/16 at 10:45 am to Freauxzen
I also think post WS is what changed his tune. Popularity in the character grew immensely and I'm sure Marvel/Disney has since treated him like an A lister instead of a supporting one.
