I heard it’s going to be made out of plot armor.

Judging by the first reactions last night, I think the rotten tomatoes score will be in the 60-70 range.

One of the rumors was one of the rounds of reshoots was to alter her costume to be less Jewish, and to de-emphasize the connection with Israel

That would be worse than Vibranium against a Hulk. Vibranium offers some impact dissipation. Adamantium, while unbreakable, offers no shock absorption to my knowledge
What was Loki's made out of in the first Avengers? The Hulk took him and smashed him like a rag doll 10 times to the point where the concrete floor was breaking. I remember being in the theatre and the audience cracking up laughing but I was just like wtf that is so stupid, dude should be dead. Hated the anti climatic ending to that movie.

Loki isn't human. He is half Frost Giant, half God

I mean, just a rumor. But it was pretty widespread
I think her name is Sabra, or Sabre

I realize that
That doesn't mean he should have lived after having his brain smashed by hulk over and over again.

Mackie will be blamed, and that blows. Mackie's Wilson is as comics accurate as Evans' Steve.

He could have survived it. But he should have shown more physical damage

Everyone was praising him. The issues I'm seeing is pacing is bad and the script is weak.

Glad to hear that

Wow. Marvel needs a hard reset. Thought maybe they were trending upward after DP and Wolverine but I guess not.

This was pretty much expected, you can't rewrite and retool a movie this much and expect it to turn out well. During production was around the time Fiege and Marvel said let's bring it back in and actually come up with a more coherent plan.
Also, DP/Wolverine was just straight-up nostalgia bait, with no actual story involved. It was cool finally seeing Deadpool and Wolverine together but we didn't get anything out of that movie outside some fun action scenes. If Marvel doesn't land FF then yeah they're in real trouble.

The good news for Marvel is they were able to get rights back for F4 and the X-Men. I think these franchises will help them turn it around. Imagine if Fox had never sold? Then Marvel would be in some trouble.

it's probably good and critics dont think it's gay enough

I was browsing RT and several of the negative reviews are upset it doesn’t explicitly go after Trump harder, that it’s “too apolitical.”
A few I saw.
quote:
It’s one of many disappointing Brave New World qualities, which includes how a superhero like Captain America that used to fight corrupt U.S. presidents now coddles them.
quote:
It not only turns its hero into a Magical Negro. In an effort to soothe white America’s anger and hurt, it also asks its hero to grin and figuratively tap dance off screen.
quote:
The stars have aligned politically for Marvel Studios. The promise of Captain America: Brave New World is not unlike that of Donald’s Trump’s destructive new presidency: you could have the lowest of expectations and still be miserable and disappointed.
quote:
Given its political theming, the screenplay (credited to 5 different writers on top of 3 story writers) makes wishy-washy attempts to speak to our current societal moment with a certain naivety that doesn’t suit the precariousness of our reality.
quote:
But rather than have a single thing to say about our politics or what it would mean to empower a Black man in a role previously held by a white guy or anything about the world today, Brave New World takes the coward’s view from nowhere.
A few I saw.

Just shows that they had become used to Disney pushing their propaganda for them.
