Probably the result of the reshoots. The effects take time to get right and Marvel has been notorious about changing their mind on how things should look, forcing effects companies to go back redo things.

It's going to end up losing money. The 'target' is a projection, an estimate of how the movie will do at the box office, not what it NEEDS to make.
The $180 - 200 million claims are laughable and not the full cost of what this movie took to make.

Making it look a little less successful than Quantumania, with both having the benefit of a 4-day weekend
Sad because, while Quantumania had a FAR superior villain, Brave New World was a better movie in all other respects

I don’t know if this thread needs the spoiler tag. Four days after release and there hasn’t been any discussion about the actual movie. Just the usual mouth breathers telling people that watched the movie they aren’t allowed to like it because the YouTubers said so.

So fricking tired of the dismissals out of hand of any one who dares to have an opinion about something. The board claims all those I actually DO watch and subscribe to - Nerdrodtic, The Critical Drinker, Just Some Guy, MauLer, and about a dozen others - are all just incel nerds. Which his hilarious because virtually all are married with their own kids in or out of college, and who are simply fans. But no, now you'll dismiss some 20 something yr old, because of a chair? The supposed target audience of these movies, who admittedly grew up on the MCU breaks the movie down and explains why her, her dad and her brother are all tapping out of this crap.
