Since this on the Movie/TV board, I was correct only a few. If this was on the O-T, I got about 90% right!

I expected better of myself. Some of these didn't work, though, no matter what I typed in.

SPOILERS

Missed most of the crap....Gladiator, Sex and The City, Moulin Rouge, Speed Racer, Titanic.

Casino Royale's logo just wasn't iconic enough. Missed Aliens too.

The easy ones are the letters that start with the name of the movie.

Yes, seriously.

Eh, not really. And I think my posts on the board prove otherwise.

Do I really have to like every film I see? Or is disliking a film automatic grounds for being labeled a movie snob.

Does a movie snob defend a movie he doesn't enjoy anyways, for the sole fact that it is a pretty groundbreaking film? Or does that same snob argue that John Carpenter, regardless of his history, makes pretty kick-arse movies? Or said:

quote:

I thought it was ok, never understood the hate for it. It's was a kid's story about stories.

About Lady in the Water, which is widely panned on here and everywhere else. Or this:

quote:

I thought it was fun for what it was, nothing more. I thought the premise was clever, it had some good gore, and the actors were good for their roles.

About The Ruins, yup, I'm sure plenty of movie snobs loved that movie.

To you I'm sure I'd be a snob if I don't like Date Movie. Or am I snob because I made a negative comment about Date Movie in the first place?

P.S. I could also point you to review I did, for a newspaper (online link as well) for a movie I also thoroughly enjoyed. Guess what awesome, truly historical and artistic film I did it for? It's probably a little above your head, but yeah it was called Music and Lyrics. That's me the big movie snob, only enjoying films that mean something, films that other people don't enjoy, or artsy films.

Oh yeah, and I don't like any film that is popular except for Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, The Wizard of Oz, Aladdin, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, The Goonies, Back to the Future, Monster Squad, The Shawshank Redemption, The Matrix, It's a Wonderful Life, Airplane!, Duck Soup!, Transformers, Pirates of the Carribean, Forrest Gump, Spider-Man, Armageddon, Ghostbusters.........etc.

I typed in "cars" and "shaun of the dead" for the first two, and it said I was wrong..I clicked on the letters to reveal the answer, and I was right....
