I used to really like this show back in the day. I fell off of it somewhere and never finished it.
Every now and then this clip of a SNL game shows called "What is Burn Notice?" pops up on my TikTok feed but I can't find it on YouTube to embed.

Was USA making good shows no one knew about? With the burn notice love here, the resurgence of suits and the goat psych; they had interesting programming no one seemed to watch.

My only real criticism with her is how her Irish accent basically faded from one episode to the next.
But I get it, once she has been established as former IRA, that’s all that was really needed.

When they introduced the character of Jesse and added him to the team it seemed forced and unnecessary. Even when Nate started to get a bigger role and presence, it was overkill.
Tim Matheson was great in his guest appearances as Larry.
Loved the show. Will watch reruns every now and then.

It was one episode and it was the pilot
Once the show got the green light, they got rid of the accent. They even make a joke about it in episode 2

Very entertaining show for straight males, who weren't babied as kids. It had everything red blooded American boys love. Fights, shoot outs and a hot chick that blew stuff up!
