Marvel needs to just buy the rights back before Fox aborts every storyline possible.

I'd much rather the reboot.

They've abandoned most of these characters except for Magneto and Wolverine. It sucks.

sigh

we will never get a fully unified Marvel cinematic universe and Warner Bros with never get their heads out of their asses long enough to properly create one for DC.

Yep.. It's very frustrating to see that even Spiderman appears to be getting done better and X-fans are stuck with Singer for the long haul.

I have no idea if he's going to use the old cast or new but his being in the directors chair says a lot.

interesting. wonder if it'll be the First Class team, or some type of rebooted present day version of the team.

Days of Future Past looks pretty good so far, so I won't be disappointed with this news if that movie ends up being well

Fox is never giving XMen back to marvel anyway

Singer wasn't the best choice for the franchise but he is PERFECT for this new one

It's a cosmic justice at work here.

One studio has all the rights under one roof but inept for the moment right now until proven otherwise.

The other studio would do a damned good job but they can't get their grubby paws on the rights to the characters.

God hates us comic book nerds and fans.

Apocalypse; they are going to screw him up. I can feel it deep down in my bones. Most likely will be greatly underpowered or just an emo little bitch.

What's with the Bryan Singer hate? Yes, Superman was a turd but X Men 2 is one of the best if not the best comic book movies ever made.

Singer's two Xmen movies are two of the best comic movies ever. I don't get all the hate.

Pretty sure he was doing Superman while the X men 3 abortion happened as well.

because he completely bastardized the characters. The X-men wore black jumpsuits, the focus of an entire team was on one character, maybe two if you count Jean Grey. The main character of the X-men series, Scott Summers, was a background character in the films. His and Fox's decisions, including First Class, deserve the hate they receive.

Bryan singer sucked at directing Xmen 2 and Superman Return. Xmen one was his only good one.
