It was a low budget movie, but Hiddleston was good. I know Hank III wanted that role for himself and made comments about how only someone from Alabama could play him, but from the very little record we have of what Hank Sr. sounded like in interviews, Hiddleston did it pretty well.

I've been watching reviews from people like Collider and Beyond The Trailer and I truly believe there is going to be a massive disconnect between the critics and regular audience goers with this one.
