This is such a perfect show to ignore the episode descriptions and go into each story completely blind. The writers are phenomenal at pacing out the developments and reveals as to what is actually occurring. Personal favorite is probably 'White Bear' with 'San Junipero' and 'Hated In the Nation' being right on it's heels. Season 3 finished up very strongly.

I didn't really care for Nosedive. I felt like that played out exactly as I expected it.

As far as Hated in the Nation, it felt a lot like an episode of a regular tv show (with higher stakes), but I still enjoyed it.

I didn't care for Nosedive, just because of the elites and the way they talked more than anything. San Junipero was the rare, fun and mostly positive episode with some really great ideas about "crossing over" that made me think about death differently. It's a very interesting show with a lot of concepts I think we'll eventually have in technology. It has some great music as well.

I liked that episode, but I feel like everyone likes that she was busted...like it justifies jealousy.

I actually liked it because I was so against him the whole time, watching him throw away a great marriage being too caught up on a small flaw in her past.

Then flipped to the opposite when it came to light that she was actively cheating, and lying about it. Definitely get what you're saying though.

So what's the deal with this show. Is it spooky and/or intense?

I think I get the premise and standalone episodes, but wondering about tone/shock value because I watch everything with my little boy now, he is too young to understand anything but nevertheless don't want to have anything too disturbing on.

Is it more of a mindfck type of show or just weird like AHS.

I am surprised by all the love for Nosedive

I thought it was the worst episode of the entire series.

To each his own. I loved it. I though it did a great job of portraying a society of people who used social media to hide their underlying misery.

Also, although BDH's character was annoying, I think that was the entire point.

I don't want to sound like an a-hole, but don't even remotely compare this show to AHS. There is no comparison at all, neither in story/structure nor quality (especially).

Best way to describe BM is that it's a show with sort of a Twilight Zone kind of feel, mixed with a technological blend and different aspects of tech in society (a lot of it is sort of "futuristic").

I would definitely say I wouldn't watch it with your boy though, although I guess that depends on how old he is. But it isn't really a show for kids.

episode one of this most current season (3), or S1E1?

because if you are that blown away by S1E1, buddy I don't have the words to describe the ride you're about to be in for.

I feel like S1E1 is underrated in some circles.

White Christmas is still my all time favorite episode. If I had to rate the episode from S3 it would be:

Playtest
San Junipero
Hated in The Nation
Nosedive
Shutup & Dance
Men Against Fire

eh

IMO, I think E1 and the puppet one (waldo something) are by FAR the 2 worst, and the only 2 episodes BM has ever put out that I have zero desire whatsoever to see again.

All the rest range from pretty good to elite.

I watched the first one last night (season 1) and thought it was great.

Can't wait for the rest of the ride.

The Waldo Moment seems fairly realistic imo.

omg omg omg you don't even know what you're about to go through.

All I ask, no beg....please keep updating this thread as you move through em. The next 2 you watch are infinitely better to me than S1E1.

Have y'all seen Stranger Things? I absolutely love the shoutout to the 80s. ET meets Poltergeist.

Given what we just saw this past year it seems entirely too realistic.

My man!

I have watched the first 3 so far and I thought they were all fantastic.

The Entire History of You was my favorite of the 3, just incredible.

Is the production quality and acting consistently this good throughout the series?

Considering my affinity for the genre this could go down as an all timer for me.

Yes.

It truly is one of the lesser known gems. I recommend it to everyone and most of my friends have never heard of it.
