Just like most TV shows today ... they got you hooked and then they turned it into a SJW propaganda sh!tshow that became completely f*cking unwatchable.

I dropped showtime not long after they introduced the character that came with preferred pronouns.
Not out of objections but just because I was running out of interesting things to watch. I did enjoy Ray Donovan, Dexter, and Homeland in their time. Wasn't Nurse Jackie on showtime too? Dug that too.

it's...OK
watchable but not good
the similes they cram into conversation are hilariously bad and clumsy

riger article on the similes

I really like the show. But I never binge watched it so it never got old. Sometimes I’d miss a week and watched two back to back but that’s it.
I like seeing the nice expensive toys and shots of NYC. I think the acting is fine and it doesn’t take itself too seriously. Earlier seasons were better. But I still watch when it comes on.

The writers insist on hitting you over the head with a bat that says "THESE CHARACTERS ARE SMART!" down the side.
We know they're smart. They're billionaires and US Attorneys. I don't need a wild historical reference that requires to me to pause and google to understand in order to remind me that these people are intelligent.

First season or two are great. Starts to trail off after that, but it's still watchable.

It's ok, but it gets stale IMO. The two main guys just continue the cycle from season one over and over. It seems like the show doesn't really go anywhere.

Right up until around the time Taylor hits the scene
Whatever the frick "Taylor" is supposed to be, is where I really lost interest.

I think this is a key. I've also watched each season on its own and never more than 2 a day. If I watched it all back to back it'd be too much. Giamatti's character gets to really spit out some pompous dialog at times and the writers certainly work hard to keep coming up with ever more over the top phrases and references. But it's entertaining. I actually really liked the 3 way cat & mouse game between Axe, Taylor and Chuck in S4.

Wife and I like it, waiting for season 3 to drop.

What everybody said is spot on. You can tell the writers are running out of storylines. The forced pop culture references get old. Saw Wags the other day on The Office. He was an auditor trying to appraise the value of Dunder Mifflin.

Very good series. Can get cheesy at times. They have a fetish with celebrities making cameos showing how connected Bobby is to all famous people. Wish they would stop that. Very cringeworthy.

Like everyone else said, really enjoyed it at first but it dropped off after Taylor came in.. They had to make her too perfect and smarter than everyone else just cause she was non binary or whatever.. got really old quick.

Was good until Taylor became a main character. And the showrunner decided the show had a duty to be critical of Trump. His words not mine

It's called Billions not because of the amount of money being thrown around, but the amount of cringeworthy pop culture references written into every episode after season 2

Loved the start but sort of getting bored with the concept midway through season 2. Just seems like a repetitive cycle and nothing ever really happens. Getting bored with it.
