You sure? Maybe so.

A black man being the deciding vote to evict a black woman to keep a white male after all this would not go over well with Taylor

Cancellation kills strategy.

I'm not sure what you meant by this, but speaking from a "Should I do something that helps my game at the risk of getting cancelled when I get out?" The answer is almost certainly no.

Think about Turner for instance, he's trying to run a rug business. If people start trashing him and cancelling him, he will go out of business, and everything he's worked for will go down the drain.

Kyle and Alyssa had sex again, I think he said he lasted 20 seconds this time.

Bruh 20 seconds with that girl would bring any man a lifetime of happiness and memories. She's dynamite.

Not winning the game and getting to spend two or three weeks with her in jury would be incredible. INCREDIBLE.

He was fricked from the start with this. The problem is no POC heard him say any of this so M&B can and did frame it the way they wanted. He did suggest there might be a Cookout 2.0 and he did suggest an alliance that was all white. The problem for him is the voting in the season doesn't really support a Cookout 2.0 and there is a huge difference between an alliance that happens to be made up solely of white people and a white alliance. When it has been laid out differently it is damn hard to come in and defend oneself especially when you actually said something very similar.

Finally someone with a similar take as me. The moment he admitted his actions were indeed rooted in race, he lost any benefit of the doubt from me. He's the only one that knows his real intentions. Whether or not he was convinced to say that is a whole other discussion and if he was, then that's even worse than what he's accused of IMO.

The reason this situation is so disappointing to Monte and Terrance is because they are not members of the cookout. The only thing connecting them to the cookout is the color of their skin. The dynamics of the house up that point suggested no evidence of a cookout existing. It was a bad read. Period. Monte and more recently, Terrance had good working relationships with Kyle in the house and then found out he was accused of still trying to move against them for no other reason than a black alliance existed the previous season.

Being aware the cookout happened and bringing it up is not racist. Being in an alliance with just white people is not racist. Using the existence of the cookout to justify targeting black people is. Being in an all white alliance to target black people is. The house thinks Kyle is guilty of the last two things because that is how Michael framed it. Kyle did not defend himself and admitted he was guilty. He's either prejudiced or a pussy.

Michael on the other hand is a scum bag and I hope he's evicted next week. He'll claim he did it for virtuous reasons and justice and blah blah but he did it to further his game. He knows it. These two were responsible for the best season of BB in years and then they both had a hand in destroying it.

Well the following Thursday is a double eviction so he'll likely be gone that week especially if he happens to win HOH this Thursday. His only protection would be Veto.

Exactly my point. You can’t strategize in certain situations with cancellation as a sure outcome.

In terms of racism, the only way to avoid it is by having an all black cast or all white cast or all Asian cast, whatever it is. But if you go with an exclusive race cast, well, then that’s racist too. I’ve always enjoyed diversity in the show but last year ruined it all, as genius as it was.

Can’t we just enjoy a TV show? Apparently not now….too people whined about BB not being “diverse enough”. I can only imagine how people will decide to play the game week 1 next year.

The fact of the matter is, BB or their production team can't do anything about it, after what they pushed last season.

Way less.

This is correct, and unfortunately it’s because of the absolutely bone headed sloppy play by Turner and Kyle to be so set on trying to backdoor Michael when there was a 50/50 chance he’d get picked to play veto anyway

Had he just put his target and closest ally, Kyle would almost certainly be sitting next to Brittney, not Taylor.

In that case I am almost certain Terrence would vote to keep Kyle and probably convinces Monte to as well.

Then Brittney would be going to jury tomorrow night. But given all that’s happened keeping Kyle to send home Taylor isn’t even something they can really consider just for sheer optics. No question Terrence would want Kyle to stay against anyone else.

Absolute stupidity to try a backdoor at this stage of the game. You identify your target and his closest ally and ensure one goes home. Just foolishness.

I tend to agree, except Michael would likely still win the veto and still go "SJW" to ensure that brit was kept and Kyle went.

I don’t think there’s any chance Terrence or Alyssa would have voted Kyle out over Brittney.

Which would leave Monte as the swing vote.

But Monte and Kyle have been close all game and have hashed this out already. Terrence was already trying to hint to Monte that Kyle should stay.

But against Taylor that’s just a non-starter.

I think it’s very likely Monte would rather work with Kyle Terrence and Turner going forward over Michael Brittney and Taylor.

They’ve already acknowledged how shitty is was of Michael and Brittney to hold this as a trump card.

Choosing between those two they could focus more on the game aspect.

But Taylor is an innocent in all of this. Sending her over Kyle is just a bridge too far and I actually understand it from their perspective.

Kyle does too, which is why he isn’t fighting it. But against Brittney he’d 100% be campaigning his arse off and I honestly think he’d win them over pretty easily.

This was just a worst case scenario.

Hell, if Michael and Brittney had been the noms I bet Kyle would have challenged Michael to use the veto on Brittney and sit next to him on the block and let the house decide who they believe.

Guarantee Michael would have pussed out and that would have only strengthened Kyle’s position against Brittney.

Would have actually been awesome to see that play out. Stupid backdoor plan at F8

The backdoor philosophy that has permeated the game needs to go away. It's one thing to backdoor someone with 13 people in the house, but when you have 8 and 6 play veto it's just stupid.

It's psychologically more taxing to be on the block from the jump anyway and more likely to have your target do something crazy, for better or worse, but likely worse.

So just curious…….how is next year’s season houseguests supposed to walk in and play this game? Scared? DGAF? Walk on eggshells around literally everyone regardless of race at this point? This season was shaping up to be different and well here we are. Now what next season? (Not to think too far ahead, but I’m not really sure what approach I’d take.)

I feel canceled already just thinking about it.

Don’t tell the biggest woke snowflake in the house you want to make an alliance to go against the next Cookout when 2 of the first 4 people (would have been 3/4) people evicted are black is a good strategy to start.

Right

But really….I know walking in I IMMEDIATELY would think about the possibility. I don’t remember how long it was after the show started that Kyle brought it up, but I know dayum well I’d think about it first thing next season….and really, that’s a shitty way to start off a season.
