But she could easily have family in other parts of TX affected.

Anyways, was just curious. I would feel horrible that I was just chilling in the jury house blissfully unaware that a family member of mine had lost everything.

For sure I'm just use a speculating. My parents live in southeast Houston and I'd probably strangle an intern if they didn't give me a heads up on the situation

I'm sure that they'll try. Hope they get even more backlash if they do cover it up.

So, can production cover this up tomorrow night?

They'll just edit it as usual and won't be addressed at all.

I wonder what Kevin will do when he finds out.

Is there a disorder where people incorrectly see there own behaviors/characteristics/attitudes in other people? If so, Alex has that. Calling Kevin mean, giving people the 'side eye' etc. Youre describing yourself, not Kevin.

i really do think this is getting blown out of proportion, and this is coming from someone who doesnt like jason (even though, i do like how he stood to his guns last night against alex and paul)
the joke was terrible and insensitive, but it was a joke. its the whole "literally hitler" deal now. anything that is said, even if not in a literal way, will be taken that way to give some one the fuel they need to go off and try to destroy you.
even the other house guests arent in an uproar like the media bc they know it was a joke

I'm curious why the national media has picked THAT to run with. Yeah it was bad, but it was in the context of "I'll say the meanest thing to him I can. That's probably the meanest I can think of". It was just messing around, albeit pretty lowbrow.

What they SHOULD have run with was the absolute depravity of 14 people ganging up nonstop on 2 people who just wanted to be left alone and would physically isolate themselves to get away from everyone else. That few days was about the lowest I've ever seen a cast stoop to.

TMZ did cover the bullying by providing proof of Cody's service. The problem is the show refused to touch it or show the house questioning him.

Jason deserves the coverage he's getting. What he said, regardless of intent, was the worst thing that's been said this season. Kevin would likely attempt to kill him if he was aware of him saying it.

Both tie together as to how this house has worked this season. As soon as Paul gives the thumbs down, Alex and Jason swarm. They did it to Kevin all week this week. They tried doing it to Mark last week and he wouldn't bite. Next week it will be Raven and Kevin. The bullying and style of play has led to this season being labeled worst ever. We would all be better off if they just gave Paul the $500k now.

Yeah, I have jokingly said some pretty bad stuff when I am around friends. I am not getting too worked up about what he said, but he is really dumb for saying this knowing that cameras are rolling at all times.

he and alex (and probably everyone else but paul) arent aware that the live feeds are recorded, let alone put into youtube clips and twitter gifs. they actually think the only people seeing them are viewers that are glued to the feeds 24/7.

It's absurd to me that the Jason narrative is the one that's taking off.

Jason made a joke -- albeit in extremely poor taste -- in private to a small group of people. It was obviously not something he would have said aloud to the house, and it was not I'll intentioned. F-ed up, but no malice there.

Meanwhile, other houseguests are intentionally attempting to inflict emotional distress on other house guests not through clever game play, but through targeted, personal attacks and group bullying.

At least Jason seems like he is conflicted about it and might have a conscience. The others act like their behavior is completely justified.
