I don't think they were all blank and they are switching them out. Production doesn't keep them, the players do. And I don't think Julie is a magician who can swap them out in front of a national tv audience. I also don't think they'd risk someone outing them for this. But they definitely know who has it.
I think the concert was always going to happen since Marley was already going to be in concert in LA for two days, and I don't think they could book him without having it planned before this past week.
But the carnival games and prizes could've definitely been added last minute to fill space for an episode just in case Paulie was going out this week. But whether Paulie has it or not, he is a overwhelming favorite to win the buy back regardless.

I'm sure production knows where each player is keeping their ticket. They could easily go in while everyone is outside and swap them out.
Hopefully Paulie doesn't have it and all of this conspiracy shite is worthless

They could also have round trip and one way in every envelope. They hand it to Julie to open and pull out.

Paul just told Natalie and James that Paulie told him he had sex with Zakiya 5 times
One was in a bumper car. Allegedly
Paul also says didn't wrap it up. Allegedly
"Fool comes out of here with a child."

Paul- I guarantee you none of them are going to be dating. Corey is going to be boning anything with legs. Paulie never cared

James should take a hint.
They also talked about how Corey & Nicole make out all of the time. James is probably sitting there thinking wtf, I'm lucky if I get a peck on the cheek, and these other showmances are making out non-stop and going at it bareback.

With all the shite we've seen from them like taking aryn over the coals, casting a fricking half person in Audrey, having a token gay very season, etc....why would production be lobbying to KEEP Paulie? They probably can't wait to see him go and then hope the girls get power.

I don't buy them wanting him to stick around after this week when he's been a bitch about doing the pie thing and threatening not to go to jury.
Now before this he was running the house, and was basically this season's Vannessa or Derrick (just from a house running standpoint, not a strategy standpoint). So I could see them wanting him to stick around.
But with that said, I'm wondering if the reason that they tried to talk Victor out of putting him up is because they know he has the RT ticket, and were planning on doing the jury buy back special on Friday.

This goes back to someone asking several pages back why a lot of fans hate Allison Grodner. She plays favorites every season and there are hints she tries to influence the game to keep the favorites around. I'm sure they have some sort of internal polling data that shows Paulie being a driver of viewers, probably because for several weeks he was the only one playing the game. Plus for women, he's easy on the eyes.
I do think every reality show has producers doing the same thing, just not as gratuitous as Grodner's appears to be. Survivior took a lot of heat for the season Boston Rob won over it. Amazing Race took a lot of heat for it the season that dad and son beat Rachel & Brendan in the finals. But those are exceptions to their formula.

And I get that, for sure. But my thing is that it seems like of all the people to want to fight for and play favorites for, paulie would be the LAST person they'd want to do it for...especially after his incredibly bad portrayal from Sunday.

I agree, and my guess is she has a prior relationship with him. His brother was on the show, and was very popular. And he's close to Derrick, who was also very popular.

Yeah, he came in with a very entitled attitude that he should do well just because his brother went far. Now that he is finding that other players don't give a damn who his brother is he is losing it.

I present to you...Paul's old MySpace pics.

Paulie hung out with Robin Kass (Casting director) way before he was even cast for the show. They're just getting lazy...

I think it was just a matter of him being the only one that was playing the game up until last week. His bad portrayal from Sunday was a result of what all happened last week. And even though Paulie's flirting and hitting on Nat was happening a few weeks before last week, she didn't seem to mind it at all on the live feeds (again, she was flirting right back with him and Paul).
And I think that everyone flirting with everyone type of social structure is something that CBS/the entertainment business wants to propagate as the social norm. So while Paulie was the king of the house, and no one seemed to care that Paulie was flirting with Nat (and vice versa to an extent), Alison and crew were fine with letting Paulie run the house since it seemed no one else would.

I think Nat ODed on Advil (if that is even possible). She apparently took 8 of them because her neck was hurting her, and she started puking a little while ago.

8 fricking Advil??
That's 1600 mg, I'm not sure you are supposed to take any medicine of that quantity
