I didn't get that impression, though she seemed frustrated he was blind to what has been going on and she seemed to warm up to Paul.

No, Nat just played James like a fiddle though. She's been kind of distancing herself from him for a week or so now, and flirting more with Paulie and Paul. This obviously pissed James off, because yesterday he kind of stayed away from her and pouted all day. Then last night/early this morning Nat tells James that Paulie has been hitting on her for weeks now (asking her out after the show and trying to kiss her and crap), which was just the right buttons to push to make James want to turn on Paulie.

Fall BB also will only be 10 weeks. Maybe they'll test some different shite (comps , prizes , powers , etc) during the fall and BB will come back better than ever next summer. One can hope

HEre's a somewhat off topic question...what exactly is that beast Grodner responsible for? I know she's the head person or whatever, but what exactly does she call the shots on?
I ask because I've seen a lot of big BB fans talk so bad about her and how much she sucks, but if she were replaced with some great new person, what changes would be expected? Like would the casting change just because she's not in charge anymore? Does she come up with the twists?

He was really worried yesterday that she was playing him. Dude was sulking big time all day. Then she reeled him right back in by telling him Paulie had been hitting on her for weeks now. If I were James, I'd be like "he's been asking you out when you get out of the house, and trying to kiss you, and you're still flirting with the guy? What the hell?" But James is too dumb, and likes her way too much to not be played by her.
She even said to Paul during the game talk in front of James "I genuinely like James. I would marry him in the future." Then she said "since I apparently don't really like you, and I'm being fake" and she gave him a big hug. And apparently at one point James was getting up to leave, and she pulled him back down and gave him a kiss on the cheek. She is laying it on poor ole James.

my post was more so a joke about him using that line before about gameplay when he has/had no cards to speak of. He just sucked.

I for the longest really wanted to believe she wasn't. But this past week has opened my eyes to believing she kind of is playing him, at least to the extent that she doesn't like him as anything other than a friend.
The first 3 weeks they were together, you couldn't pry her way from him. They slept in the same bumper car together, and basically secluded themselves from the rest of the house. Then last week she started kicking him out of bed and stuff. And now this week she hasn't once gotten into the bumper car with him, and seemed to distance herself from him and turned up her flirting with Paulie and Paul. Now she played this "Paulie is hitting on me" card to get him to turn on Paulie. She has to be playing the poor guy, to some extent at least.

unless this plan leads to paulie's ousting and an alliance involving nat takes power and she ends up winning. Then she'd look like a genius. Kinda.
